Track your Nordstrom order
Nordstrom emails customers when items ship and when an order’s status changes. If an order contains multiple items, check each item’s status: they may ship separately.

- If you have an account: Sign in to Nordstrom and open your purchases on the way to see tracking updates.
- If you checked out as a guest: Find the order number in your confirmation email and enter it on Nordstrom’s order-information page. The order-status workflow requires the relevant order information or sign-in; the public page does not display your order details without it.
- Check your email: Look for Nordstrom’s shipping message or a status update, then use the tracking information provided for the item.

What to do if a delivery is late or missing
- Confirm whether the item shipped. Check its order status and shipment email. For an order split into several shipments, review each item separately.
- Report a missing shipment or item. Nordstrom’s FAQ asks customers whose items or shipments are missing within 30 days of the ship date to report an order issue through their account or contact Nordstrom for help. This is reporting guidance, not a promise of a particular remedy.
- Contact customer service if you need help. Nordstrom lists U.S. customer service at 1.888.282.6060, available 24/7, and also offers online chat.
Nordstrom’s U.S. order-support process may not apply to international orders. Its FAQ directs international customers to the International Shopping information.

How a backorder differs from a late delivery
A backordered item was not available to ship when the order was placed, so it is different from a package that has already shipped but has not arrived. Nordstrom says it provides an approximate ship date when the item is added to the bag and at checkout, and emails customers if that date changes. The company says payment is charged as the item ships. For an item that has shipped, use its tracking updates; if it remains missing, report the issue using the steps above.
