To track a particular Indian stock exchange webpage with screenshot comparisons, add its URL to Visualping, choose the whole page or the relevant area, set a check schedule and change criteria, and enable a notification channel available on your plan. For NSE announcements and circulars, check NSE’s official RSS feeds first: a feed may cover the category you need without setting up an individual page monitor. Use alerts as prompts to verify important changes on the exchange’s current official page.
Choose between NSE RSS and a Visualping screenshot monitor
NSE’s official RSS page lists feeds including Announcements and Circulars and explains how to follow them in an RSS reader: NSE RSS feeds. If the category you want is covered, subscribe to that feed. The NSE circular listing also exposes a “Subscribe to RSS Feed” option: NSE circulars.

Visualping is useful when you want to watch a particular URL or part of a page and review visual or text differences. It checks according to the schedule you configure; it does not promise to detect a change at the moment the exchange publishes it. A monitor tracks only its configured page or area, so it is not a centralized feed for every stock or all announcements from NSE and BSE.
| What you need | NSE official RSS | Visualping screenshots |
|---|---|---|
| Best fit | A feed category NSE publishes, such as announcements or circulars. | A chosen webpage or area, with visual and text change comparisons. |
| Setup | Subscribe to a relevant feed in an RSS reader. | Add the page, choose the monitored area, describe the important change, and set a check schedule. |
| Change evidence | Feed entries and links, subject to the feed and reader’s refresh behavior. | Before-and-after screenshot and text comparison views. |
| Notifications | Depends on your RSS reader. | Email and other channels; availability depends on the Visualping plan. |
| Important limitation | NSE notes that service-provider delays can occur and that a manual refresh may be needed, depending on the reader. | The monitor checks only its configured URL or area on its schedule; verify consequential updates on the live official exchange page. |
Set up a Visualping monitor for an exchange page
- Choose the official page. Open the NSE or BSE page whose changes matter to you, such as an NSE circular listing or a relevant announcements page. Check whether NSE already offers a suitable RSS category before creating a monitor.
- Add the page in Visualping. Use Visualping’s monitor setup and enter the exact page URL. Follow its current setup flow at Visualping.
- Choose what to watch. Monitor the whole page or select a particular area. A focused area can help keep unrelated page changes from distracting you, while a whole-page monitor may suit a page where updates can appear in different places.
- Describe the change that matters and set the schedule. Configure the criteria and check frequency for your purpose. The alert cadence depends on scheduled checks, so choose a schedule appropriate to how promptly you need to review changes.
- Enable a notification channel. Email is available to all Visualping users; other options depend on the plan. Visualping lists RSS notifications for Business-plan users. Its instructions say to copy the generated feed URL from the monitor’s notifications and add it to an RSS reader: Visualping RSS instructions.
- Review each alert against the live page. Open the linked page and inspect the before-and-after screenshot and text changes. Visualping’s comparison view marks additions in green and deletions in red. Confirm any material update on the exchange’s current official page.
Understand what the screenshot alert does—and does not—show
Visualping’s alert documentation says it sends a notification when a scheduled check detects a change, and describes the screenshot and text comparison: How to read Visualping alerts. The comparison helps you identify what appears to have been added or removed between captures; it is not a substitute for the exchange’s live page or an assurance that every update was captured.

NSE says website content and descriptions may change without prior notice and that outdated content may be archived. Treat an alert as a monitoring aid, not a completeness guarantee or investment advice. Check the current official page when a change could affect a decision: NSE disclaimer.
Notification and timing considerations
- Scheduled checks are not instant publication alerts. A change can occur between checks. The time you notice it depends on the configured schedule and how quickly the notification channel delivers the alert.
- Plan affects notification choices. Email is available to all users, while Visualping documents other channels as plan-dependent. RSS is listed for Business users.
- RSS refresh behavior can vary. NSE notes that provider delays can occur and that some readers may need a manual refresh. Do not treat feed arrival time as proof of the exact publication time.
Or skip the browser setup
For a one-off screenshot or a capture workflow in code, ScreenshotNeo provides a website screenshot API and MCP server. One GET request can return a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF. This is not a replacement for Visualping’s scheduled change monitoring: it captures a page when you request it rather than monitoring that page for future changes.

Troubleshoot missed or confusing changes
- No alert arrived: Check that the monitor is active, the URL is correct, a check schedule is set, and the notification method is enabled and available on your plan. For RSS notifications, confirm that the account has access to the Business-plan channel and that the generated feed URL was added to the reader.
- The alert shows unrelated changes: Review whether the whole page is being monitored. Narrowing the monitored area to the relevant section can focus comparisons on the content you care about.
- An expected update is absent: Open the exchange’s current page directly and check the relevant NSE RSS feed if applicable. A scheduled monitor may not yet have checked, and feed readers can have refresh delays.
- The screenshot and page now differ: The live page may have changed again since the capture, or content may have been archived. Use the alert to locate the change, then verify the current official page before acting.
