To track an Amazon.in product with Browse AI, use its prebuilt Amazon robot if it captures the listing details you need; otherwise train a robot on the product page, select the displayed price field, and schedule repeat runs. Then check early captures against the live listing: Amazon.in prices can vary by seller, variant, shipping, promotions, and availability, so a captured price is not necessarily the final checkout total.
What Browse AI can monitor
Browse AI describes a prebuilt Amazon robot that can capture product prices, ratings, and stock from Amazon search or product pages on a chosen schedule. It also documents custom robots for capturing visible page data, with scheduled runs and options for sending results or alerts to destinations such as spreadsheets, email, or webhooks. Its published capability descriptions cover Amazon generally, not a dedicated Amazon.in setup walkthrough, so confirm the robot works with your specific Indian listing.

Before setting up a tracker, decide what you mean by “price.” A product detail page may show different offers by seller or variant, alongside shipping charges and promotions. Choose the exact visible field that answers your question and verify it against the listing. Do not assume a robot’s captured value includes every checkout charge or applies to every seller.

-
Choose and check the listing
Open the product detail page on Amazon.in for the item you want to follow. Confirm the selected variant and seller are the ones you intend to track, and note which displayed price or offer you want the robot to capture.

Choose the prebuilt robot or train one
In Browse AI, try the prebuilt Amazon robot first if its available fields match your needs. If it does not capture the intended listing data, create a custom robot on the product page and select the displayed price. Add fields such as availability or seller only if they matter to your use case. The available sources do not establish a dedicated India-specific configuration path, so rely on the current Browse AI interface and validate the result rather than assuming the Amazon-wide workflow will work unchanged.
-
Schedule runs and choose a destination
Set the monitoring schedule in Browse AI and choose where records or alerts should go, such as a spreadsheet, email, or webhook, where available. Check Browse AI’s live pricing and plan information for the schedule, monitored-site, volume, and credit limits that apply to your account; those limits can change, and no current price figure is established here.

Validate the first captures
Compare the robot’s captured value with the live Amazon.in page. Check that it is reading the intended seller, variant, and price field, and note whether shipping or promotional details are separate. Correct the selected field or page workflow if the capture does not represent the offer you mean to track.

Which price-tracking approach fits?
| Approach | Best suited to | What is documented | What to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Browse AI | Scheduled capture of price plus other fields, or routing records to a workflow destination | Prebuilt Amazon robot for price, ratings, and stock; schedules, alerts, and history are described by Browse AI | Whether the selected Amazon.in listing works, which price field is captured, and current schedule and plan limits |
| Amazon price history | Checking a product’s past prices without building a monitoring robot | Amazon says customers in India can view 30-, 90-, and 365-day history from a product page or Alexa for Shopping | Whether the history control is available for the particular listing and account, and how it appears in the current interface |
| Keepa | Ready-made price charts and price-drop or restock notifications | Keepa’s current Google Play listing says the app supports Amazon India and describes price-history charts and notifications | Current app features and any account or paid-feature requirements |
Choose based on whether you need recurring alerts, fields beyond price, or a destination for captured data. No available evidence establishes that one method is universally more accurate than the others.

When Amazon’s built-in history or Keepa is simpler
Use Amazon price history for a quick check
If you only want to judge whether today’s offer is low compared with the past, start with Amazon’s price-history feature rather than building a robot. Amazon describes 30-, 90-, and 365-day views for customers in India, accessible from a product detail page or Alexa for Shopping. Availability and interface details may differ by listing or account. Amazon reported in 2026 that more than 50 million customers had checked price history since its 2024 launch; that is an Amazon-published figure, not an independently verified count.
Consider Keepa for ready-made alerts
Keepa’s current Google Play listing states that it supports Amazon India and offers price-history charts plus price-drop and restock notifications. Check the current app listing for feature and account requirements before relying on a particular alert workflow.

Troubleshooting Browse AI captures
- The robot does not load or recognize the page: confirm the Amazon.in product page opens normally in the setup flow and that the listing is accessible. Since the documented Amazon robot is not an India-specific walkthrough, try the custom-robot route if the prebuilt workflow does not fit.
- The captured value is not the price you expected: revisit the selected field and compare it with the live page. Check the seller, variant, shipping, and promotion details rather than treating every displayed number as the same offer.
- Availability or seller changes: include those fields only when they are part of the question you are trying to answer, then validate what the capture represents. A price record without its seller or variant context may not describe a comparable offer.
- Runs, alerts, or destinations are not behaving as expected: inspect the robot’s current schedule and output configuration in Browse AI, and check the live plan limits and usage rules for your account. The available information does not specify current credit costs or plan quotas.
Or skip the browser setup
If your task is to capture a webpage screenshot rather than maintain a price history, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. A single request can return an image or PDF; it is not a substitute for scheduled price monitoring or a historical price chart. Cookie and consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets are removed before capture, with each cleanup step configurable. Bot checks and CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and response headers report the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server provides screenshot tools for AI agents, including Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients.
