In Selenium, use driver.save_screenshot('/content/page.png') to save a PNG of the current browser window in a Colab runtime. You first need a working Selenium WebDriver session in that runtime; the screenshot call does not install or configure a browser or driver.
Capture the current browser window
Once your WebDriver session is running, navigate to the page and call save_screenshot() with an explicit PNG path. This example assumes driver is an already configured Selenium driver:

Selenium documents this method as saving the current window to a PNG file. Its return value is a Boolean: True indicates the save succeeded, while False indicates an I/O error. Use a full path and a filename ending in .png. See the Selenium Python WebDriver API reference.
Make sure the page is ready before capturing
driver.get(url) navigates to the requested page, but a site may still be rendering asynchronous content after navigation returns. If the image needs a particular element or data, wait for that page-specific condition before calling save_screenshot(). Choose the wait based on what the target page loads; the screenshot API itself does not guarantee that asynchronous content has finished rendering.

Choose the screenshot scope

Do not assume save_screenshot() produces a full-document, full-page image: its documented scope is the current window. Full-page behavior can depend on the browser-specific approach, so verify the method and resulting dimensions for your browser if you need a full-document capture.

Close the WebDriver session
When the capture work is finished, close the browser session with driver.quit(). Selenium’s screenshot example uses it after saving the image. If you take several screenshots in one session, wait until they are complete before quitting.
Find and retrieve the file in Colab
The path /content/page.png writes to the notebook runtime. Saving the screenshot and making it available outside that runtime are separate steps: the Selenium screenshot call only creates the file. Use Colab’s current file tools or documentation for the export or persistence method you need. The Selenium references cited here do not specify current Colab file-export steps.

Does saving to /content/page.png make the image permanent in Colab?
No. It saves the file in the notebook runtime; exporting or persisting it is a separate Colab step.
