How to photograph a wild Aniimo’s special behavior
Enter camera mode near a wild Aniimo and watch for a camera icon above it during a special behavior. Take the picture while the icon is present; the guide says this can unlock a research entry in the Aniilog. If a Field Note calls for a particular behavior, check the corresponding Aniilog hints to identify the requested moment. (Aniimo Guide)

Do Aniimo photos have other uses?
Beyond ordinary pictures, the documented gameplay use is photographing a wild Aniimo’s special behavior to unlock an Aniilog research entry. The game-text-derived photo guide also describes event-specific photo recognition and Photo Studio invitations, reporting that invitations unlock at Affinity level 3.
