To capture more of a website than fits on your Redmi Note screen, take a normal screenshot, tap Scroll in the screenshot preview, stop at the point you want, then tap DONE and ✓ to save it. Xiaomi documents this scrolling-screenshot flow, including for the REDMI Note 14 and REDMI Note 14 5G. It creates a vertically extended image; Xiaomi’s guidance does not specify a pixel size that matches a particular Redmi Note display.
Take a scrolling screenshot on a Redmi Note
- Open the website and position the page where you want the screenshot to begin.
- Take a regular screenshot. The button or gesture depends on your model and software. On REDMI Note 14, Xiaomi documents opening Control Center by swiping down from the upper right and tapping Screenshot. You can also configure a shortcut under Settings > Additional settings > Gesture shortcuts > Take a screenshot; listed options include a three-finger swipe down and Volume down + Power. Xiaomi’s regional REDMI Note 14 5G FAQ also documents pressing Power and Volume Down together. See Xiaomi’s REDMI Note 14 instructions and REDMI Note 14 5G FAQ.
- Tap Scroll on the screenshot preview. Xiaomi’s general instructions say this option appears at the upper-right of the preview. The preview’s position and interface can vary by model or software build. Xiaomi’s scrolling screenshot guide
- Choose the endpoint. Allow the page to advance automatically or adjust how far the capture extends, then stop when the screenshot includes the content you need.
- Save the image. Tap DONE, then tap the ✓ control.
What “Redmi Note screen size” means here
A scrolling screenshot combines content from farther down the page into one long image. The Xiaomi instructions support that interpretation of “screen size”; they do not establish an exact output width, height, resolution, or aspect ratio for a given Redmi Note. If you need an image with specific pixel dimensions for a design or document, check the saved file’s dimensions rather than assuming the long screenshot matches the phone’s display resolution.

If Scroll is missing or the screenshot will not save
The Scroll option does not appear
- Check whether more page content remains below the visible area. Android’s scrolling capture instructions apply on Android 12 and later to most screens that allow scrolling, not every screen or website.
- Check the instructions for your exact Redmi Note model and installed software. Xiaomi confirms long screenshot support for REDMI Note 14 and REDMI Note 14 5G, but that does not establish availability on every Redmi Note generation or software build.
- Do not assume that a particular browser always exposes the option. Support can depend on the screen and software; the available guidance does not establish browser-by-browser compatibility.
The long capture stops too early
Repeat the capture and adjust the endpoint in the scrolling preview before confirming. The control may look or behave differently across software versions.
The image is missing from Gallery
Xiaomi notes that Gallery Editor may need permission to certain folders to view and save scrolling screenshots. Permission wording varies, so check the relevant Gallery or Gallery Editor permissions on your software build rather than relying on one universal setting name.

Android’s separate Capture more option
Android Help describes another scrolling-capture interface for devices running Android 12 and later: take a screenshot, tap Capture more on most screens that allow scrolling, and adjust the crop guides. This is Android’s documented label, not a guarantee that a Redmi Note will show it. Xiaomi’s instructions call its preview option Scroll. Follow the label that appears on your device. Or skip the browser setup
If you need a website screenshot from code rather than from your phone, ScreenshotNeo can return a screenshot with one GET request. Its API can return PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF; this example saves a WebP image. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation.
