To capture a webpage beyond what is currently visible in Chrome, open FireShot and choose its entire-page capture option—usually labeled “Capture entire webpage” or “Capture entire Page and…”. Then choose what to do with the capture, such as edit it or save it as an image or PDF. FireShot’s exact labels and available actions can vary by version and plan.
Capture the entire webpage in Chrome
- Open the webpage you want to capture in Chrome.
- Click the FireShot toolbar button, or open its menu.
- Choose the option for capturing the entire webpage. FireShot’s instructions describe this mode as including page content that is outside the current viewport and would normally require scrolling to see. The wording can vary; look for “Capture entire webpage” or “Capture entire Page and…”.
- Choose the next action offered, such as opening the capture for editing or saving it. Follow the dialog to select an output format or destination.
FireShot distinguishes entire-page captures from captures of only the visible area and captures of a selected area. - Image: Choose an image format when you need a screenshot to insert into a document, send to someone, or use in another image-capable application.
- PDF: Choose PDF when you need a document-style file. A full-page capture may create a very tall page, while a print-oriented PDF may be divided across pages; FireShot’s official pages describe multiple PDF options, but the current dialog determines what is available.
- Edit first: Use an edit or annotation action if you need to adjust the capture before saving. Which editing features are available can depend on the version and plan.
What to know about capture limits and paid features
Entire-page capture is intended to include content below the visible browser window, but the vendor material reviewed does not guarantee that every dynamic page or nested scrolling area will be captured completely. A page may load content as you scroll, or place a table or panel inside its own scroll area. If completeness matters, inspect the resulting file and test the target page rather than assuming every embedded region is included.

Troubleshoot a capture that looks incomplete
- The screenshot stops at the current screen: Confirm that you selected the entire-page option, not visible-area capture.
- Content is missing or appears only after scrolling: The page may load content dynamically. Allow it to finish loading, try the capture again, and inspect the output. FireShot’s reviewed documentation does not promise complete capture of every dynamic page.
- A nested panel or table is cut off: A page’s own scrollable region is distinct from scrolling the page itself. The official material reviewed does not guarantee capture of every nested scrolling area; test the result and consider another method if that region is essential.
- You cannot find a listed format or action: The menu can differ by version and plan. Check the current dialog and FireShot’s feature comparison rather than assuming an older instruction matches your installation.
- A long capture is awkward to print: Determine whether the available PDF option creates a tall page or a paginated document. The current vendor material advertises multiple PDF options but does not establish exact dialog steps for every version.
