How to Sync Microsoft Jewel Progress Between Mobile and PC

Supported Microsoft Casual Games can use Xbox cloud saves to resume across devices. Here’s how to check accounts, connectivity, and conflicting progress for Microsoft Jewel.

If your version of Microsoft Jewel supports Xbox cloud saves, sign in on your phone or tablet and PC with the same Microsoft account and associated Xbox profile, and connect both devices to the internet. Microsoft says supported Microsoft Casual Games can save progress to the Xbox network and resume across devices. That does not establish that every game called Microsoft Jewel—or every mobile and PC version—shares progress, so confirm you are using the same supported game on both devices.

Before you start: confirm the game and account

Open the game on each device and check that it is the same Microsoft Jewel experience. The available Microsoft guidance describes Microsoft Casual Games generally, but does not confirm that every mobile and PC version branded Jewel uses the same save system. If the two apps are different editions or experiences, matching accounts alone may not transfer progress.

For supported games, Microsoft’s Microsoft Casual Games support guidance says progress and achievements are saved to the Xbox network cloud. Sign in on both devices with the same Microsoft account and use the Xbox profile associated with it. Guest play does not support resuming gameplay across devices or unlocking achievements.

How to try syncing progress

  1. Connect both devices to the internet. If you played offline, that session may have saved only on the device. Microsoft’s general Xbox Game Saves documentation explains that an offline save cannot sync to the cloud until the device reconnects.
  2. Sign in to the same Microsoft account and Xbox profile on both devices. If either device is using guest access or a different account, switch to the account used for the progress you want to continue.
  3. Open the same game on the device where you want to continue. Give it time to connect and load. For a supported version, cloud progress should be available through the game’s Xbox-connected save system; Microsoft’s general support page does not specify a Jewel-specific sync button or menu path.
  4. Check the displayed progress before playing further. If it is correct, continue playing on that device. If it is not, avoid advancing the game on both devices while you determine which save is current.

What to do if the progress does not match

Cloud-save systems can encounter different versions when local and cloud progress have both changed. Microsoft’s Game Saves documentation describes a conflict state in which the system may ask which version to use. If a choice appears, read the progress details carefully and select the save you intend to keep; choosing one version may replace the other.

If there is no clear choice, or the game still shows the wrong progress, keep both devices connected and avoid deleting app data, reinstalling, or clearing storage. The available Microsoft guidance does not establish a safe Jewel-specific recovery procedure, and those actions could remove a local save that has not synced. Contact Microsoft Casual Games support or use the game’s own feedback or support route for help with the specific app.

Why sync can fail

  • Different account or guest session: supported cross-device progress depends on signing in with the same Microsoft account and Xbox profile; guests cannot resume across devices.
  • Offline play: progress may remain local until that device reconnects, so the cloud copy can lag behind.
  • Two devices changed progress: local and cloud saves may conflict, and the game or Xbox save system may ask which version to retain.
  • Unsupported or different Jewel versions: Microsoft’s general Casual Games guidance is not proof that every app named Jewel supports mobile-to-PC continuity.
