You can keep recorded banking-exam lessons available as a continuous YouTube livestream by sending them through an encoder, using a dedicated hardware encoder, or hosting the feed in the cloud. For a do-it-yourself setup, schedule an encoder stream in YouTube Studio, connect a computer running streaming software with your stream URL and key, and test a playlist before promoting it. First make sure the channel is eligible for live streaming; first-time activation can take up to 24 hours.

Choose how the recorded classes will run

The main choice is what will play the lessons and keep sending the feed to YouTube. YouTube’s encoder directory includes software and hardware options, plus cloud tools for prerecorded 24/7 streaming. A scheduled prerecorded broadcast is another option for finite lessons, but it is not the same as an endless loop.

StreamNeo, a cloud 24/7 YouTube service You want an uploaded recording or playlist to keep looping without leaving a computer running at home. One flat price per slot for any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps; first day is free. See StreamNeo for the service details.
Local software encoder You already have a reliable computer and want direct control of the encoder. The computer, power, internet connection, software, and recovery after a disconnect are your responsibility. YouTube documents the encoder setup and stream URL/key workflow (YouTube encoder setup).
Dedicated hardware encoder You prefer an appliance over a general-purpose computer. Hardware adds cost and configuration. Confirm that its prerecorded scheduling supports your rotation; YouTube’s directory describes AJA HELO Plus and PlayToStream scheduling prerecorded media directly to YouTube Live without a computer (YouTube encoder directory).
Scheduled prerecorded broadcast You want a particular recorded lesson to start at a chosen time and end when the file finishes. This does not establish an endless loop. StreamYard documents plan-dependent video limits and automatic-mode limitations (StreamYard prerecorded streaming).

Before paying for any provider, verify that it accepts your account and payment method in India, what the current plan includes, whether it loops playlists or only plays one file, how it handles a disconnect or handoff, and its retention and rights terms. YouTube’s directory identifies Gyre as a cloud-based prerecorded 24/7 tool, but directory inclusion alone does not establish a provider’s current availability, price, or uptime guarantee.

Prepare the channel, recordings, and stream plan

Confirm live-stream eligibility

YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-stream restrictions in the previous 90 days, and the creator must be at least 16. First-time activation may take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before your intended launch (YouTube live-streaming eligibility).

Organize a useful class rotation

Arrange the recordings in a deliberate sequence—such as quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English, and general awareness—and label lessons clearly. Add a simple intermission slate if there are gaps between lessons. Check audio levels, video playback, and that each file is the intended version before adding it to the rotation.

Check rights and viewer expectations

Only stream class recordings and embedded music, images, or other third-party materials you have permission to use. YouTube’s live-stream rules apply to prerecorded content too; violations can lead to removal, age restrictions, strikes, or loss of streaming access (YouTube live-streaming policies). Tell viewers plainly that the feed is prerecorded, and plan who will moderate chat while it is running.

Set up a local encoder stream in YouTube Studio

  1. Schedule the broadcast. In YouTube Studio, select Create > Go Live, then use Manage > Schedule stream to create the upcoming stream. Scheduling gives you a URL to share and time to promote the broadcast. You can also create an encoder stream directly in the Live Control Room (YouTube encoder setup).
  2. Copy the connection details. In the Live Control Room, copy the stream URL and stream key into the matching fields in your encoder. Treat the key like a password: do not post it publicly or share it with viewers.
  3. Configure the encoder and playlist. Select the recordings or playlist to play, set the output resolution and bitrate your upload connection can sustain, and use the keyframe and rate-control settings described below. Keep the encoder computer powered, connected to the internet, and prevented from sleeping for the whole session.
  4. Preview before going live. Start the encoder output and wait for the preview to appear in the Live Control Room. Check both video and audio, then click Go live when the preview and stream health look right.
  5. Monitor the broadcast. Check the Live Control Room’s stream health and chat moderation. Do not assume the feed will recover unattended if the local computer, power, network, encoder, or YouTube connection fails.

Use YouTube’s recommended encoder settings as a starting point

There is no bitrate that guarantees a stable stream on every Indian broadband or mobile connection. YouTube advises choosing a quality your upload connection can sustain, testing with representative motion and audio, and monitoring stream health. It recommends RTMPS for an encrypted connection and suggests running a speed test for upload bitrate (YouTube encoder settings).

Output target YouTube-listed H.264 bitrate Other setting
1080p at 30 fps 5 Mbps recommended CBR; 2-second keyframe interval
720p at 30 fps 3 Mbps recommended CBR; 2-second keyframe interval

These are YouTube platform recommendations, not a guarantee that your real-world upload can hold the stream. Leave headroom for normal connection variation; if health warnings or dropped frames appear, lower the bitrate or resolution and retest. Use the frame rate and codec supported by your encoder and source rather than upscaling a lower-quality recording.

Plan for long runtimes, handoffs, and archives

A 24/7 channel presence is not automatically one uninterrupted broadcast. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived (YouTube encoder setup). Because that guidance does not promise indefinite continuity for a single stream, test a restart or handoff plan before advertising the channel as continuously live. That may mean scheduling fresh broadcasts or using a verified service workflow; test that viewers can find the next stream and that the playlist resumes as intended.

For any method, check what happens when a file ends, a playlist reaches its last item, the connection drops, or the stream is stopped for maintenance. A planned restart is safer than assuming an encoder session can run forever.

When scheduled prerecorded broadcasts are a better fit

If you need one lesson to start at a specific time rather than a continuous loop, a scheduled prerecorded broadcast may be simpler. StreamYard says its prerecorded streams start at the selected time and end when the uploaded video finishes. Its help page lists maximum video lengths of 2 hours on Core, 4 hours on Advanced, and 8 hours on Team/Business; up to 10 Mbps upload bitrate; up to 1080p on paid plans; and scheduling up to 365 days ahead. It also says automatic prerecorded mode does not include studio overlays or on-stream comment display. These are vendor-documented plan features and may change (StreamYard prerecorded streaming).

Monetization and compliance for recorded classes

Eligible creators may monetize live streams through ads, Super Chat and Super Stickers, and channel memberships, depending on eligibility and stream settings. Ads are not guaranteed to serve, so a continuously live feed does not imply fixed earnings (YouTube live-stream monetization).

YouTube reported that channels enabling live automatic mid-roll ads had an average “over 20% uplift in instream ad revenue per hour” compared with channels that did not, across 207 countries in January 2024. This is a platform-reported average comparison, not a forecast for an individual channel or a promise that ads will run (YouTube’s 2024 automatic mid-roll update).

Troubleshoot common problems

  • Live streaming is unavailable: verify the channel and check for restrictions. If this is the first activation, allow up to 24 hours for it to become available.
  • No encoder preview appears: confirm the encoder is using the correct stream URL and key, is actually sending output, and is configured for a supported connection. Re-copy the key from the Live Control Room if needed.
  • Stream health reports instability or frames drop: run an upload speed test, reduce bitrate or resolution, and test again using the real class video. A speed-test result is not a guarantee of sustained upload quality.
  • Audio is silent or out of sync: check the source file’s audio, encoder audio input and levels, and preview before starting the public broadcast.
  • The feed stops when the lesson ends: a single prerecorded broadcast normally ends with its file. Use a playlist or a tested rotation/handoff process if the goal is continuous playback.
  • The stream ends or archive expectations are unclear: YouTube documents automatic archives for streams under 12 hours, not an indefinite single broadcast. Test the restart and viewer handoff path rather than relying on an untested long session.
  • Copyright or policy action occurs: review the notice in YouTube Studio, remove or replace material you are not authorized to use, and check the applicable live-stream rules before restarting.

Or let it run in the cloud

StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos: upload a recording or playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home. It streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; it automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. For Indian creators, UPI is supported; card checkout is available worldwide. See StreamNeo plans, then start your free first day.
