You can broadcast authorized Goa beach footage from a Windows PC by connecting encoder software to a stream created in YouTube Studio, then keeping the PC and its internet connection running. The basic workflow is: verify live-stream eligibility, add the footage and ambient audio to an encoder, enter YouTube’s server URL and stream key, test the feed, and monitor stream health. YouTube’s cited instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; they do not establish that one uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast will be archived in full.

Check that your channel can go live

Prepare footage and audio you have rights to use
Use a recording you are authorized to stream, and check the rights for every sound in it, including music audible in the original beach recording. YouTube’s livestream terms state: “You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights for the exploitation of the Live Content on the Google Services throughout the world, including, without limitation, music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers (including public performance licenses) and any other royalty participants.” This is a platform requirement, not legal advice. Plan for an always-on PC and connection
For the Windows-PC method, the computer running the encoder must remain powered on, connected to the internet, and able to play the feed. A wired Ethernet connection to the router can avoid some local wireless variability if your equipment supports it, but it cannot add capacity to your internet plan or guarantee an uninterrupted broadcast.

Set up the YouTube stream
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Create or schedule a stream using the encoder workflow. YouTube’s encoder streaming guide explains the stream setup.
- Copy the server URL and stream key. Enter both in the encoder’s streaming or broadcast settings. Treat the key like a password: anyone with it may be able to send a feed to your stream. If it is exposed, use YouTube’s reset option and update the encoder with the new key.
- Build the video feed in your encoder. Add your authorized beach footage and ambient sound as a media source or scene. Configure the encoder to repeat the recording if you want a loop; the exact control depends on the software you choose. YouTube’s setup instructions do not prescribe a specific Windows encoder or looping procedure.
- Choose output settings for your connection. Set resolution, frame rate, and bitrate to suit a reliable upload connection rather than selecting the highest possible values by default. YouTube recommends constant bitrate (CBR), a two-second keyframe interval, and RTMPS. Its live encoder settings and bitrates guide provides platform guidance. Test the intended settings before the full broadcast.
- Leave upload headroom. YouTube recommends about 20% upload-bandwidth headroom. That margin helps accommodate variation in the connection; if your upload is unstable, lower the stream’s bitrate or improve the connection rather than running at its limit. See YouTube’s encoder tips.
- Check the preview before starting. Start the encoder, then confirm the incoming picture and sound in the Live Control Room preview. Test with footage that has similar motion and audio to the planned stream, and check stream health before and during the broadcast.
- Start the event and keep watch. When the preview and stream health look right, start the live event in YouTube Studio if the stream is scheduled or awaiting a separate start action. Keep an eye on the encoder, PC, connection, and Studio stream-health indicators during operation; interruptions can break a live stream.
Understand the 24/7 replay limitation
YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That statement does not establish how a single uninterrupted stream lasting 24 hours or longer is archived, or whether its complete replay will remain intact. If a complete replay matters, do not promise or assume a full 24-hour archive on that basis. Plan the live broadcast and the replay requirement separately.
Keep the Windows-PC stream running
- Keep the computer awake and the encoder open; a shutdown, sleep event, or encoder crash stops the PC-side feed.
- Use a stable network path and retain the recommended upload headroom. Ethernet may help with the connection between PC and router, but does not resolve an ISP outage or insufficient upload capacity.
- Check stream health and audio/video in the Live Control Room instead of assuming a repeating local file means the YouTube stream is healthy.
- Protect the stream key. Reset it in YouTube if compromised, then replace the saved key in the encoder.
