You can stream a Punjabi devotional video loop on YouTube Live by clearing the rights to the exact recording, activating live streaming on an eligible channel, and sending the video through a software or hardware encoder. Test the complete loop before broadcasting: religious subject matter does not make a recording copyright-free, and YouTube may interrupt a live stream that matches third-party content.
Before you stream: clear the video and music rights
Identify who owns every part of the recording you plan to broadcast: the devotional performance, the sound recording, any accompanying video, and any additional material such as artwork or background footage. You need permission or other valid rights to stream the specific works. A devotional or religious subject does not establish that a recording is free to broadcast.

YouTube’s Livestream terms say creators must have the necessary rights for live content, including music licensing rights. Check that your permission covers live streaming, the territories where viewers may watch, and whether the broadcast will remain available as an archived video.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can cause YouTube to replace the stream with a placeholder, issue a warning, or interrupt or terminate the broadcast if the content continues. A license alone may not prevent interruption: YouTube says the rights holder may need to allowlist your channel through Content ID. Confirm that with the rights holder before going live. See YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance.

Do not rely on a label such as “free” to establish that a song is safe to use. YouTube’s audio-library guidance says music is copyright-safe for YouTube when it is in the public domain or you have permission from the copyright owner. The reviewed guidance does not establish whether any particular Punjabi devotional recording is public domain or licensed; check the work and its license directly.
Check that your channel can go live
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time activation of live streaming may take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before the planned broadcast rather than waiting until the day of the event. Check the current requirements in YouTube’s live-streaming tips and encoder setup instructions.

Choose an encoder for the loop
An encoder sends your video and audio feed to YouTube Live. You can use software running on a computer or a dedicated hardware encoder. YouTube lists OBS among encoders that support HLS output, but the official guidance does not specify minimum computer hardware for your particular video or loop. Check that your chosen encoder can play the source file continuously and sustain the planned stream, then test it before relying on it for a long broadcast.
| Option | What it involves | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Software encoder | Run an encoder on a computer and configure it to play and transmit your video. | Confirm the computer can play the source, keep the encoder running for the planned duration, and maintain a stable internet connection. |
| Hardware encoder | Use a dedicated device to send the feed to YouTube. | Confirm compatibility with your source and YouTube’s connection settings; test the complete setup before broadcast. |
YouTube establishes that both software and hardware encoder paths are available; it does not establish that a particular one is required or sufficient for an unspecified computer, file, or broadcast length. Compare the setup effort, source compatibility, reliability for your planned duration, and total cost before buying equipment.

- PLUG IN AND HEAR SOUND IN SECONDS - USB Type-A connector with a 3.5mm stereo headphone output and a separate 3.5mm mono microphone input. No drivers, no software, no external power - the adapter is USB bus-powered and is recognized as a standard USB audio device.
- WORKS ON WINDOWS, MAC AND LINUX - Driverless on Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/7/8, Linux and Mac OSX, and compliant with the USB Audio Device Class 1.0 specification, so any system that supports class-compliant USB audio will see it. Select it as the sound output and input device after plugging it in.
- TWO JACKS, TWO JOBS - The green jack is stereo OUT for headphones or powered speakers; the pink jack is mono microphone IN for a 3.5mm mic. It does NOT support 4-pole headsets on a single combo plug, it does NOT power passive speakers, and it does NOT add surround sound - it is a stereo 2-channel adapter.
- FOR LAPTOPS AND DESKTOPS THAT NEED AN AUDIO PORT BACK - Adds a headphone and mic port to a laptop, desktop, or mini PC whose onboard jack has failed or was never there. Managed and work-issued computers can block new USB audio devices by policy - check with your IT department before ordering for a company machine.
- SABRENT SUPPORT AND WARRANTY - What is in the box: one USB audio sound adapter. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty, extended to 2 years when you register within 90 days on the manufacturer's website.
Set up YouTube Live and connect the encoder
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Start a stream and choose the encoder workflow. Follow the on-screen setup for the broadcast.
- Enter the stream URL and stream key in your encoder. YouTube’s encoder instructions describe connecting these details. Treat the stream key like a credential: do not publish it or share it with people who should not be able to send a feed to your channel. If you think it has been exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Prefer RTMPS when your encoder supports it. YouTube describes RTMPS as the secure extension to RTMP in its encoder settings guidance. Use the server address and connection details YouTube provides for your stream.
- Load the intended video and configure it to repeat. Set up the loop in the playback or encoder software you selected. The exact control depends on that software; verify it by watching the transition from the end of the video back to its beginning.
Choose resolution, frame rate, and bitrate for your connection
Set encoder output to a quality your upload connection can sustain. YouTube’s H.264 recommendations include 10 Mbps for 1080p at 30 fps and 14 Mbps for 1080p at 60 fps. These are platform recommendations, not guarantees that your particular connection will deliver a stable stream. YouTube also recommends keeping 20% upload-bandwidth headroom; test your upload speed and leave that capacity available above the stream bitrate. See YouTube’s encoder settings and network guidance.
- Choose a resolution and frame rate that match the source and your available upload capacity; higher settings require more bandwidth.
- Use YouTube’s published bitrate recommendation for the chosen resolution, frame rate, and codec as a starting point, not as proof that your network can sustain it.
- If the stream buffers or reports poor connection health, reduce the output bitrate or quality and test again.
Test the full loop, then monitor the live stream
- Run a representative test. Use the actual video and audio, not a short placeholder. Listen for clear, steady audio and watch for picture problems or unexpected black frames.
- Check the loop transition. Watch the end of one pass and the start of the next to catch pauses, abrupt cuts, or playback that stops instead of repeating.
- Review YouTube’s Live Control Room preview and stream health. Check its status messages and confirm that the incoming picture and sound are as expected.
- Start the broadcast and keep monitoring. Watch for connection warnings, audio or video interruptions, and any copyright notice. A successful initial connection does not establish that the stream will remain uninterrupted for its entire duration.
Troubleshoot common problems
| Symptom | What to check | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Live streaming is unavailable | The channel may not be verified, may have a live-streaming restriction in the past 90 days, or first-time activation may still be processing. | Check YouTube’s eligibility guidance and activate the feature in advance; first-time activation may take up to 24 hours. |
| YouTube does not receive the encoder feed | Check that the stream URL and key in the encoder match the details for the current broadcast. | Re-enter the current details from YouTube Studio. If the key may have been exposed, replace it and update the encoder. |
| Buffering or poor stream health | The selected bitrate may exceed what the upload connection can sustain, or the connection may lack the recommended headroom. | Test upload speed, preserve 20% headroom, and lower the encoder bitrate or output quality before testing again. |
| The video stops or does not repeat | The playback or encoder software may not be configured to loop, or the file may not play correctly through its end. | Check the loop setting and test a complete playback transition using the actual file. |
| Audio or picture is missing or incorrect | The wrong source may be selected, playback may be muted, or the encoder may be sending unexpected output. | Check the source file, audio level, encoder input, and Live Control Room preview before continuing. |
| A copyright warning appears or the stream is interrupted | YouTube may have matched third-party content; a license may not have been paired with a Content ID allowlist for your channel. | Stop using content you cannot establish rights to use. For licensed material, contact the rights holder about allowlisting your channel. |
