To stream a Hindi bhajan playlist as a YouTube Live loop, create an encoder-based live stream in YouTube Studio, feed it audio and visuals that your encoder can repeat, then check the Live Control Room preview before going public. A YouTube playlist by itself does not create a continuous live broadcast. First clear the rights to both the recordings and compositions: a traditional bhajan’s age does not make a modern recording free to rebroadcast.
Before you set up the stream
Check that your channel can go live
YouTube’s eligibility guidance says the channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. The minimum age to live stream is 16. First-time live-stream enablement may take up to 24 hours, so enable it and test well before the planned broadcast. YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance explains the requirements.

Clear rights for every recording
You are responsible for having the necessary rights to use live content and any archive, including music licensing rights. YouTube’s Livestream terms and conditions state: “You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights for the exploitation of the Live Content on the Google Services throughout the world, including, without limitation, music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers (including public performance licenses) and any other royalty participants.”
A bhajan can involve rights in the underlying composition as well as separate rights in a particular performance and sound recording. A traditional or public-domain composition does not automatically make a contemporary singer’s recording available for rebroadcast. Get permission that covers the live use and archive, and keep documentation of it.

Ask about Content ID allowlisting
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match may replace the video with a placeholder, interrupt the broadcast, or terminate it. Even if you have permission, a stream may be interrupted when the rightsholder has not allowlisted your channel through Content ID. Ask the relevant owner to allowlist the channel when needed, and do not treat a successful rehearsal as proof that every rights issue is resolved. YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance describes how these checks can affect a broadcast.
Set up the Hindi bhajan loop in YouTube Studio
- Choose an encoder workflow. A pre-arranged audio loop with a visual background needs an encoder-based stream. YouTube supports encoder streaming as well as webcam and mobile workflows; use an encoder that can play your media and repeat it continuously. The precise repeat control depends on the encoder you choose.
- Create or schedule the broadcast. In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live. Use the Stream tab for an immediate broadcast or Manage to schedule one. Add the title, description, visibility, and other stream details in Live Control Room. Scheduling lets you share and promote the upcoming stream in advance. See YouTube’s encoder setup guide and guidance on scheduling a live stream.
- Copy the stream URL and key into the encoder. In Live Control Room, copy the stream URL and stream key, then enter them in the encoder’s stream settings. Treat the key as a password: anyone with access to it may be able to send a stream to your channel. If it is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room and replace it in the encoder.
- Prepare and test the media loop. Add the bhajan audio and the visual you want viewers to see, then configure repeat or playlist playback in the encoder. Do not assume that a YouTube playlist automatically becomes a live feed. Play the source through at least one track transition and check that it continues without pausing or ending; the exact controls vary by encoder.
- Rehearse privately or unlisted. Use authorized audio and watch the Live Control Room preview. Check that the picture appears, the sound is audible, and playback continues across track changes. Review stream health and any rights notices before scheduling a public broadcast. A licensed recording may still require the channel to be allowlisted to avoid Content ID interruption.
- Start sending the feed, then go live. Start the encoder output and wait for the preview in Live Control Room. Follow the workflow shown there to start the public broadcast. Keep Live Control Room open or otherwise monitor it so you can respond to stream-health warnings or rights notices.
Plan for a long or overnight broadcast
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume a longer broadcast will be archived in full. If you need a complete recording, plan to end and restart the stream before it exceeds that window, or preserve a separate recording that you are authorized to keep. Confirm the loop and monitoring plan can handle the intended duration before going live. YouTube’s encoder setup guide covers the archive threshold.
Common problems and fixes
- The channel cannot start a live stream: Verify the channel, check for a live-stream restriction within the prior 90 days, and allow up to 24 hours for first-time enablement.
- The preview never appears: Confirm the encoder is sending to the stream URL with the current key. If the key was reset or exposed, update the encoder with the replacement.
- The loop stops between bhajans: Check the encoder’s media-repeat or playlist settings and test track transitions before the public broadcast. A YouTube playlist alone does not configure an encoder loop.
- The stream is interrupted despite permission: Check Live Control Room for rights notices and contact the rightsholder about Content ID allowlisting. Keep evidence of the permission that covers the recording and the composition.
- The archive is incomplete or absent after a very long stream: Do not rely on full automatic archiving for streams longer than 12 hours; end and restart within the stated threshold or make a separate authorized recording.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos: upload the bhajan video or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops from the cloud, so no computer or home internet connection has to stay on. It streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly is $9.99 per month. You still need rights to the audio and must address YouTube copyright notices. Start your free day with StreamNeo.
