To run a 24/7 music stream, you also need a separate, tested playback and encoding workflow that continuously provides audio and video. Use IRL Pro only if that workflow can feed it reliably; otherwise send the encoded feed to YouTube through a suitable encoder. Before leaving anything unattended, test the full chain and confirm you have the rights to stream every recording and composition.
What IRL Pro can—and cannot—be confirmed to do
IRL Pro is an Android streaming app. Its available materials describe configuring a broadcast destination and sending a feed using RTMP or SRT; they do not document it as a music player, playlist loop controller, or complete unattended 24/7 playout system. The Google Play listing showed an update date of September 18, 2024, but that does not establish whether a newer version has additional playback features. So, can IRL Pro loop a YouTube bhajan playlist continuously? The available documentation does not verify that it can. Do not assume that installing the app and entering a YouTube stream key is enough. First decide what will play the playlist, create the video feed, encode it, and keep that process running. Then establish whether that feed can be sent through IRL Pro in your setup. No end-to-end 24-hour IRL Pro playlist test is established here.
What you need before setting up a long stream
A playlist playback and encoding path
Choose a way to play the bhajans in order and repeat them, while producing continuous audio and a stable video signal for YouTube. The reviewed sources do not establish a particular player or complete configuration for feeding a playlist into IRL Pro. Verify the connection, looping behavior, unattended operation, and restart behavior yourself before scheduling a long run.

YouTube says a channel must be verified and have had no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days to livestream. Check eligibility in YouTube Studio before preparing the encoder. See YouTube live streaming tips.
Rights for every track
Confirm that you have the necessary rights for both the sound recording and the underlying musical composition, including permission for live streaming in the territories where your stream will be available. YouTube’s livestream terms say the provider represents that they have the rights needed for the live content, including music licensing rights involving artists, labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. Set up the YouTube broadcast and test the full chain
- Verify live-stream eligibility. Confirm the channel is verified and has no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Follow the channel’s available YouTube Studio setup if live streaming is not yet enabled. YouTube recommends preparing and testing an encoder ahead of the broadcast. YouTube’s live-streaming tips.
- Create or schedule the live stream in YouTube Studio. In YouTube Live Control Room, choose the encoder workflow and retrieve the server URL and stream key shown for that stream. YouTube’s encoder instructions say to enter these into the encoder. Exact interface labels can change, so use the values displayed for your stream rather than copying an address or key from another setup. See Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
- Protect the stream key. Treat it like a password: YouTube uses it to identify where an encoder should send the feed and accept it. Do not publish it, include it in a screenshot, or share it with someone who should not control the broadcast. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube’s live-stream settings before continuing.
- Configure the actual encoder path. If IRL Pro is part of your chosen workflow, configure its RTMP or SRT broadcast destination using the YouTube details as supported by your setup. The available IRL Pro documentation establishes broadcast configuration, not a tested continuous playlist integration. If your separate player or encoder sends directly to YouTube instead, configure that device with the server URL and key. Do not assume two encoders can use the same stream path simultaneously unless your workflow explicitly supports it.
- Use YouTube-compatible encoder settings where available. YouTube recommends constant bitrate (CBR) and a two-second keyframe interval; its guidance says the keyframe interval should not exceed four seconds. Apply these settings in the encoder that actually outputs the stream, if it exposes them. YouTube’s recommendations are general encoder guidance, not settings verified for a particular IRL Pro playlist setup. Consult YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions for the current guidance on resolution and bitrate.
- Allow upload headroom. YouTube recommends upload bandwidth with 20% headroom above the total stream bitrate. If the setup uses primary and backup encoders, its guidance says to account for both encoders plus that headroom. Check sustained upload capacity on the connection that will carry the actual broadcast; a brief speed test alone does not prove that a long stream will stay stable. See YouTube streaming tips.
- Preview and test before going live. Start the playback and encoding chain, inspect the preview in Live Control Room, and confirm that the intended bhajan audio and viewer-facing video are present. YouTube recommends testing with audio and movement similar to the intended stream. For a playlist, listen through the transitions, check for silence, clipping, unexpected notifications, or interruptions, and verify that the playlist repeats as intended.
- Start the broadcast and monitor it. Use the live controls shown in YouTube Studio to begin the stream after the preview is correct. Watch stream health and listen to the output during the test and at launch. For a 24/7 run, arrange a way to notice a dropped feed, failed playback, or network problem; the reviewed IRL Pro materials do not establish unattended recovery for a playlist workflow.
Plan for the parts a 24/7 stream makes harder
Looping and unattended continuity
A continuous broadcast depends on more than the stream key: the playlist player must continue, the encoder must keep producing a feed, the connection must remain available, and the system must recover from interruptions. The materials cited here do not establish IRL Pro’s behavior on device restart, power loss, thermal problems, or network failure during a full-day playlist. Test those failure cases in your own workflow rather than treating a successful short preview as proof of unattended reliability.

Copyright detection and interruptions
YouTube says all live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content. If it identifies a match, it may show a placeholder image and warn the streamer; if the content continues, the stream may be interrupted or terminated. YouTube also warns that licensed content can still be interrupted unless the rights owner adds the channel to its Content ID allowlist. Clear rights before you go live, and ask the rights holder whether Content ID allowlisting is needed for your channel. A license and a successful preview do not guarantee that YouTube’s automated checks will not interrupt the stream.
Archives are not a substitute for a recording plan
YouTube’s encoder guidance says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That statement does not promise a complete archive for a 24-hour stream. Troubleshooting common failures
- YouTube receives no video or audio: Check that the playlist player is actually outputting a feed, that the encoder is connected to the correct server URL, and that the correct stream key is entered. Inspect the encoder preview before going live.
- The playlist plays, but YouTube drops or stalls: Check the upload connection under sustained load and leave the recommended 20% bandwidth headroom above total stream bitrate. Inspect encoder health and any network interruptions; a short test may not reveal a problem that appears later.
- IRL Pro broadcasts, but the playlist does not loop: Broadcast configuration is not evidence of playlist control. Check the separate player’s repeat setting and test a complete cycle. The available IRL Pro documentation does not confirm a built-in playlist loop feature.
- A placeholder appears or the stream is interrupted: Review YouTube’s copyright notice and identify the matched content. Confirm that your permissions cover the exact recording and composition and, where required, ask the rights holder to allowlist the channel in Content ID. Do not keep rebroadcasting disputed material on the assumption that devotional music is exempt.
- The live video works but the archive is incomplete or absent: Do not rely on YouTube’s stated automatic-archive guidance for streams under 12 hours to guarantee a 24-hour archive. Use a separate recording plan if a complete copy is essential.
