To stop Samsung Pass from filling passwords and passkeys, change your phone’s preferred autofill service to None: open Settings > General management > Passwords, passkeys, and autofill > Preferred service, then select None. If you want another provider to handle autofill, select Google instead.
How do I turn off Samsung Pass autofill?
- Open Settings.
- Tap General management.
- Tap Passwords, passkeys, and autofill.
- Tap Preferred service.
- Select None.
This changes which service the phone uses for autofill; selecting None stops Samsung Pass from being the preferred service. Samsung’s US instructions give this path and say Google can be chosen from the same setting if you want a different autofill provider: Samsung Support: Autofill passwords with Samsung Pass on your Galaxy phone.

What if the setting is in a different place?
Samsung menus can differ by model, region, and software version. On some devices, Samsung’s Bangladesh instructions place the setting under Settings > Security and privacy > More security settings > Passwords, passkeys, and autofill; tap the settings icon beneath Preferred service. How do I stop Samsung Pass from popping up on my keyboard?
A Samsung Pass panel above the keyboard may involve a separate keyboard-related control rather than the Preferred service setting. A Samsung Community answer describes a toggle called Autofill with keyboard under Samsung Wallet > Menu > Settings: Samsung Community: Samsung Pass – possible bug maybe?
This is community guidance, and the toggle or its location may vary between app versions. If it is not present, use Settings search for “autofill” and check the available Samsung Wallet settings.

Does turning off autofill delete saved Samsung Pass information?
No. Choosing None changes the preferred autofill service; it is not the same as removing Samsung Pass data from the device. Samsung says removing a device from Samsung Pass resets the service and removes its related data from that device. See Samsung Support: Set up and use Samsung Pass on your Galaxy phone or tablet for its device-removal guidance. Use that broader action only if you intend to remove the device and its related Pass data, rather than simply stop autofill.
