How to start and complete a mission

If TacSim or a selection screen seems stuck
Update 1.1.0’s notes record fixes for a TacSim introduction challenge and for an unresponsive mission selector, gadget cart, outfit selector, and Intel shop. If you encounter a similar issue, make sure the game is updated and retry the relevant screen. Those fixes describe issues addressed in that update; they do not establish a solution for every later or different problem.
