Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?

The documented Taiwan interface uses Enhancement > Manastone; its guide says each attempt rerolls every slot on the item for 2,000 Kinah plus stones. That exact workflow and fee are not confirmed for Global. Global transfer guidance also says Manastones do not carry over when you move to replacement gear, while current Global documentation reviewed here does not establish a separate command for removing one stone.
Which equipment takes Manastones?
Manastones are for weapon and armor slots. Accessories use Soulstones instead, so check the equipment type before spending stones. A Global client item record describes an Intermediate Manastone (Bound) as usable on Manastone slots in all weapons and armor to imbue them with stats. Aion 2 item record

How to engrave Manastones
Documented Taiwan interface
- Open the Enhancement window and select the Manastone tab.
- Select the eligible weapon or armor item and provide the Manastones required for the attempt.
- Review the result before deciding whether to attempt another engraving.
This walkthrough is documented for Taiwan. It says an attempt rolls every socket on the item together and costs 2,000 Kinah plus the supplied stones. The guide cautions that its values have not been verified for other regions. Taiwan interface guide
What Global players can confirm
Global item data describes engraving Manastones on weapon and armor slots, with the stat type and value determined by chance. The reviewed Global sources do not establish the exact menu sequence, whether Global rerolls every slot together, or its attempt fee. Check the live client for your region rather than assuming the Taiwan path and cost apply. Global item data

What happens when you replace equipment?
Global transfer guidance says Manastones do not transfer to the receiving item. Treat replacement gear as a fresh investment: budget for new stones instead of expecting the engraved stones to follow the item. The same transfer guidance lists Soulstones, Theostones, Potential, and Soul Fuse among the effects or systems that do not carry over. Global transfer guide
Can you remove a Manastone individually?
Current Global information reviewed here does not confirm an individual removal command, whether a removed stone is returned, or any removal fee. Do not rely on older Aion or Aion Classic instructions about remover NPCs, fasteners, or a “Remove Manastone” menu; those describe different systems. Check the current in-game interface and region-specific patch notes before attempting to change an engraving. Aion 2 item data

How much do Manastone results vary?
The engraving result is chance-based, so a stone does not guarantee a particular stat. NCSoft’s Korean probability disclosure, version 20260922200504, reports the following figures for the covered mid/high non-Abyss Manastones. They are Korean-region disclosure values, not a published Global probability table. NCSoft probability disclosure
| Outcome | Reported chance | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Basic quality | 50% | Covered mid/high non-Abyss Manastones; Korea, disclosure version 20260922200504 |
| High quality | 35% | Covered mid/high non-Abyss Manastones; Korea, disclosure version 20260922200504 |
| Top quality | 15% | Covered mid/high non-Abyss Manastones; Korea, disclosure version 20260922200504 |
| Top-tier +100 Damage Amplification from a Superior Manastone | 0.075% per stone | Korean disclosure, version 20260922200504 |
These figures should not be applied to Global rolls. The disclosure distinguishes stone grade and play mode, including normal versus Abyssal stones and PvE versus PvP pools; the figures above are not a universal odds table.

Decide whether to engrave now or wait
- Long-term equipment: Engraving can make sense when you expect to keep the item, but the result is random.
- Likely replacement soon: Consider delaying a costly attempt. Global transfer guidance says the Manastones will not carry to the new item.
- Rerolling a current item: Account for the Taiwan-reported all-slot reroll and 2,000-Kinah fee only if you are playing that documented version; neither detail is confirmed here for Global.
