To show Google Calendar events on WordPress without embedding an iframe, use a calendar plugin or build a custom display with the Google Calendar API. Google’s standard website embed uses an iframe, so copying its usual embed code does not meet a strict no-iframe requirement. If you mean appointment bookings rather than displaying events, use Google’s appointment-schedule sharing options instead.

Before making a calendar visible on your site
Decide who should be able to see its events. Google says a calendar must be shared with the intended viewers; to make it visible to everyone, set it to public. Check the calendar’s sharing settings before connecting it to a public page, especially if event details could reveal information you do not want publicly available. Use a WordPress plugin or block
A plugin can avoid pasting Google’s iframe snippet into a page, but it is not a single standard WordPress feature: each plugin has its own connection method, display options, and dependencies. Check the plugin’s current WordPress.org listing and documentation before installing it.

Those are statements from the listing, not an independent security or performance assessment. The listing describes a shortcode, a Google authorization popup, and visual customization. It also identifies a separate application or service connection, so do not assume all processing stays inside your WordPress installation. Build a custom display with the Calendar API
Google’s developer guidance describes two API-based alternatives to its simple HTML embed: client-side JavaScript that uses JSON output from the Calendar API, and server-side code that calls the API. Either can produce a custom-rendered calendar without directly inserting the standard iframe snippet.

Why a pasted iframe may disappear
If you paste iframe markup into post content and it vanishes or is removed, WordPress sanitization may be one cause. A WordPress.org support reply describes iframe markup being filtered in the post-content context using wp_kses_post. That discussion is not a rule for every site: the editor, user role, plugins, theme, and hosting configuration can affect the result. WordPress.org support discussion
If avoiding the iframe itself is the requirement, use a plugin or custom API rendering rather than trying to preserve the iframe markup in post content. If the issue is simply that the embed code is being stripped, first check your site’s editor and role behavior; do not assume every WordPress installation handles it identically.

A public events display and an appointment booking page solve different problems. Google documents an inline booking-page option and a button for sharing appointment schedules; its help page lists WordPress.org as supporting both options.
