You can share an iCloud calendar with a Google Calendar user as a read-only subscription: publish its link from the iPhone, then have the recipient add that link in Google Calendar on a computer. If the recipient needs to edit events, use a Google calendar and share it with them instead. First check which account actually holds the events—iCloud and Google calendars follow different sharing paths.
Check where the calendar is stored
Open the iPhone Calendar app and tap Calendars. The account or section listed beside the calendar tells you whether it is an iCloud calendar or a Google calendar. That distinction matters: adding a Google account to Apple Calendar brings Google events into the iPhone app; it does not share an iCloud calendar with someone using Google Calendar. Google’s instructions for syncing Google Calendar with Apple Calendar cover that reverse direction.

Share an iCloud calendar for read-only access
Apple’s public-calendar link lets someone subscribe to an iCloud calendar, but the recipient cannot edit its events. Follow Apple’s iPhone instructions for sharing an iCloud calendar:
Recommended Free Tools
- On the iPhone, open Calendar and tap Calendars.
- Tap the information button next to the iCloud calendar you want to share.
- Turn on Public Calendar, then tap Share Link.
- Send the link to the recipient.
A public link is not a private, invitation-only share. Anyone with access to the link may be able to view the calendar, so only publish a calendar whose contents you are comfortable making accessible this way. Apple describes this public-calendar link as read-only.

Recipient: add the link in Google Calendar
- On a computer, open Google Calendar in a web browser and sign in.
- Use the option to add a calendar by URL, then paste the iCloud calendar link and confirm.
- After the subscription is added, the calendar can also appear in the Google Calendar app.
Google Calendar Help says, “To subscribe to a new calendar, you must use a computer web browser.” The Google Calendar app on iPhone or iPad cannot start a new subscription. See Google’s instructions for subscribing to someone else’s calendar.
If the other person needs to edit events
Do not use the public iCloud link for collaboration: it provides read-only access. Apple’s private iCloud-calendar sharing and editing controls are intended for other iCloud users. If the recipient uses Google Calendar and must make changes, put the events in a Google calendar and share that calendar with them.
In the Google Calendar app on iPhone or iPad, select the calendar, add the person or group, choose a permission level, and send the invitation. The available permissions determine what invitees can do. Work or school Google accounts may have sharing restricted by an administrator. Details are in Google’s calendar-sharing instructions.

If you meant Google events on the iPhone
If your goal is to see Google events in Apple’s Calendar app, add your Google account in the iPhone’s settings and enable Calendar sync. That brings Google Calendar events into Apple Calendar; it is not a way to publish an iCloud calendar to Google Calendar. Follow Google’s setup instructions.
Subscribe to a calendar directly on iPhone
To add an external calendar to the iPhone Calendar app, Apple supports subscribing with an .ics URL. This is a separate, read-only subscription option, not the Google Calendar sharing workflow above. See Apple’s instructions for setting up multiple calendars on iPhone.
