Identify your exact Blackweb model before you do anything else. For the wired models documented in the manuals and listings reviewed here, the basic setup is the same: connect the USB cable to an available port on a computer and let the operating system detect the keyboard. Lighting controls, key combinations, and driver software differ from one model to another, so those steps should come from the guide for your model, not from a generic procedure.
Find your model number first
Look for the model number on the label on the underside or back of the keyboard, on the box, or on the paperwork that came with it. The guides referenced here use model numbers such as BWA17HO004 (a configurable gaming keyboard with programmable G-keys) and BWA19H0009 (a starter set). Match the number exactly. Blackweb sells more than one design, and a setup guide for one model can give wrong instructions for another.

Be careful with similar-looking strings. A Reddit post title asks about a driver for a “BWA18HO004” to change LED patterns. That number differs from BWA17HO004 by one digit. It may be a typo or a different product, so confirm the number on the label before following any driver instructions.

Basic wired setup
This procedure applies to the documented wired models. Use it first, then follow the model-specific section for anything beyond typing.
- Choose a free USB port on the computer. A port on the back of a desktop is often more stable than a front-panel port or a hub.
- Plug the keyboard’s USB connector fully into the port.
- Wait while the computer detects the device. The BWA17HO004 guide says USB detection is automatic.
- Let any automatic installation finish. The BWA17HO004 product guide states: “When the installation completes, the keyboard is ready to use.” This is a manual statement, not a test result.
- Type in a text field to confirm that the keys register before you install any extra software.

- Insert the CD-ROM that came with the keyboard and run
Setup.exe. - Complete the installation prompts.
- Restart the PC when the installer asks you to.
- Right-click the Blackweb icon in the taskbar to open keyboard configuration.
Once configuration opens, the manual describes five saved profiles, five programmable G-keys with three macros per key, and lighting that can be adjusted through basic effects or a Chroma configurator.

The manual lists these Fn-key functions: media playback, volume up and down, mute, mail, web, calculator, Windows lock, and backlight brightness up and down. The text does not reproduce every keycap symbol, so use the printed legends on your keyboard to find the key that matches each function, and check the manual’s own list for the exact combinations.

The manual refers users to Walmart for software updates. A current download could not be confirmed from the manual or the listings reviewed here, so do not assume the CD-ROM driver or any older file will work on a current version of Windows.
BWA19H0009 starter set
The starter set is the simplest of the three designs. Connect the USB cable to an available port, and the keyboard should be recognized automatically, as described in the manual. The Walmart Canada listing says no software is required, and it describes five customizable G-keys, two adjustable LED options, and onboard memory.

The manual text available for this model does not describe how to switch between the two LED options, so check the printed key legends on your keyboard for any lighting controls. Do not apply the BWA17HO004 driver steps to this model.
Wired RGB mechanical keyboard
Walmart Canada describes this keyboard as a USB plug-and-play device with programmable RGB lighting and macro software. The listing says it offers basic compatibility with Windows and Mac, but its software features are limited to Windows. If you use a Mac, expect to use the keyboard for typing, not for the macro and lighting software. The listing showed out of stock when it was checked, and the check date is not stated.

- BWA19H0009: The listing says no software is required, so operating system compatibility beyond basic USB recognition is not stated.
- Wired RGB listing: Basic Windows and Mac compatibility is stated. Software features are Windows-only.
- Current driver downloads: None of the sources reviewed confirm a current, working download for any of these models.
Troubleshooting
- The keyboard does not register at all: Try a different USB port, reseat the connector, and confirm the cable is not damaged. The manuals do not list other fixes.
- The keyboard types but lighting or macros do not respond: Confirm the model number. For BWA17HO004, run the driver setup and restart before opening the configuration icon. For BWA19H0009, no software is needed, so check the printed key legends. For the RGB model, confirm you are on Windows if you need the macro or lighting software.
- The Fn combination does nothing: The function-key list is specific to the BWA17HO004 manual. Check the printed legends on your keyboard rather than trying combinations from another model’s guide.
- The driver will not install on a newer computer: The legacy CD-ROM driver may not run on current Windows versions, and the manual’s stated requirements are old. Check the manufacturer’s support channels for the current version rather than downloading files from unofficial sites.
For most readers, the fastest route is to confirm the model number, plug in the keyboard, and then use the model section that matches the label.
