Before connecting Tiltify to your stream
Create and publish the campaign before configuring an overlay, extension, or alert integration. The published campaign page supplies the donation link and is the campaign that your streaming tools need to display or track. Tiltify requires identity verification before launching a personal campaign or participating in its Auction House. You can add a schedule, milestones, rewards, and polls, but those are campaign options, not integration prerequisites. Tiltify’s fundraiser setup guide describes the account and publishing flow.

- Sign up for Tiltify and verify your account by email.
- Find the cause and choose the Start Fundraising flow, or create a campaign from your dashboard.
- Complete the account and campaign details. Add any optional schedule, milestones, rewards, or polls.
- Select Publish Campaign, then copy the donation link from the published campaign page.
Tiltify says fundraising does not require streaming. It identifies Twitch, YouTube, Rumble, and Facebook Live as platforms that can be displayed on a campaign page; that does not mean each platform has the same native extension or integration. Tiltify’s livestream-platform FAQ explains the distinction.

These routes serve different purposes; you do not need to configure all of them. Tiltify’s setup articles do not provide a head-to-head reliability comparison, so choose based on where you want viewers to interact and which alert software you already use.

Set up a Tiltify overlay in OBS
Tiltify’s OBS guide assumes OBS is already installed. Use this route to place campaign visuals in a scene; it is separate from putting a donation link in your description or chat.
- In OBS, select the scene where the overlay should appear, then add a new Source and choose Browser.
- In the Tiltify campaign dashboard, open Overlay, choose an available style, and copy its URL.
- Paste the copied URL into the OBS Browser source’s URL field.
- Set the source width to 1280 pixels for a 720p stream or 1920 pixels for a 1080p stream. Tiltify says the height should be at least 70 pixels to avoid issues.
- Position and size the source in the scene, then confirm it is visible and legible before the broadcast.
Tiltify describes Compact Overlay as covering about 60% of the screen, while Original/Overlay 2.0 options provide full-width placements at the top or bottom. The exact appearance depends on the style you choose. Its guide says the selected overlay receives donation data directly from the campaign. See Tiltify’s OBS Broadcaster Setup guide.

Install the Tiltify Fundraising Extension on Twitch
- In the Twitch dashboard, open Extensions, search for Tiltify, and install Tiltify Fundraising.
- Allow popup windows. Tiltify says popups are used to configure the extension and let viewers donate.
- Open the extension’s configuration, log in to Tiltify, select the campaign supported by the extension, and save.
- Activate the panel by assigning it to an extension-enabled panel on your channel. Tiltify suggests placing it among the first panels so it is easy to find in the channel information area.
- Check that the panel is active and points to the intended campaign before going live.
Viewers can use the Twitch panel to select Donate and apply their donation to available rewards, polls, or milestones. Payment is completed in a popup using a payment method the charity has connected to its campaign. Configure the extension again for each new campaign. Streamlabs
- Open account settings in Streamlabs and go to Integrations.
- Link Tiltify and check which campaign is selected. Tiltify says the connection defaults to the most recently published campaign.
- If needed, use Manage to select a different campaign.
- Use your existing Streamlabs tip-alert setup for donations to the active Tiltify campaign.

StreamElements
- Log in to StreamElements and open Account → Integrations → Tiltify.
- Select Connect and authorize the connection.
- Check your StreamElements alert setup and confirm the intended campaign is connected.
Tiltify says this allows StreamElements to register campaign donations, but Tiltify does not manage or maintain this integration. For integration troubleshooting, Tiltify directs users to StreamElements support. See Tiltify’s StreamElements integration page.
Make the donation link easy to find
Keep the campaign donation URL distinct from the overlay URL and any alert connection. The overlay displays campaign information; the extension or alert integration handles a particular display or notification route. Viewers still need a clear way to reach the campaign donation page.

For a YouTube livestream
- Tiltify recommends creating the livestream 24–48 hours before the event.
- Add the campaign donation link and a clear call to action in the stream description.
- Add the customized Tiltify overlay URL as a Browser source in your streaming software if you want an on-screen overlay.
- At the event’s start, post and pin the campaign donation URL in chat.
- Explain which link supports the fundraiser: YouTube Super Chat contributions do not go to the Tiltify campaign.
Tiltify also recommends sharing the campaign link in social posts, thanking donors, and using calls to action every 10–15 minutes during the livestream. These are Tiltify recommendations, not guarantees of donation results. It suggests trusted chat moderators who can share the link and help recognize donors. Check the setup before going live
- Campaign: Confirm it is published and that you copied the donation URL from the intended campaign.
- OBS: Confirm the Browser source uses the campaign’s overlay URL, appears in the correct scene, and is large and legible on your stream canvas.
- Twitch: Confirm the extension is saved against the correct campaign, its panel is active, and popups are allowed.
- Alerts: Confirm Streamlabs or StreamElements is authorized and connected to the active campaign.
- Viewer access: Put the donation link in the description or a pinned chat message where applicable.
Tiltify’s guides describe configuration steps but do not establish that a live donation flow has been tested in your account. Confirm the behavior in your own setup before an event.

Common setup problems and fixes
- The overlay does not appear in OBS: Check that the Browser source contains the copied overlay URL, is enabled in the scene, and has a usable size. Tiltify’s stated sizing guidance is 1280 pixels wide for 720p, 1920 pixels for 1080p, and at least 70 pixels high.
- The Twitch extension configuration or donation flow will not open: Allow popup windows, then reopen the extension configuration or panel. Tiltify identifies popups as necessary for setup and viewer donations.
- Donations are associated with the wrong campaign: Recheck the selected campaign in the extension or alert integration. In Streamlabs, use Manage if the default most recently published campaign is not the one you intend to use.
- Viewers cannot find the donation option: Share the published campaign donation URL in the description or chat. On Twitch, verify the extension panel is active; an overlay or alert alone is not the donation link.
- StreamElements is connected but alerts need troubleshooting: Tiltify says it does not maintain that integration; use StreamElements support for integration issues.
- YouTube contributions are not appearing in Tiltify: Super Chat contributions do not go to the Tiltify campaign. Direct viewers to the campaign donation link instead.
