YouTube’s encoder directory identifies Gyre as a cloud-based option for 24/7 prerecorded streaming, but its directory listing does not confirm current India availability, pricing, or recurring-calendar controls. StreamNeo is another YouTube-only cloud option: upload videos, add your stream key, and go live.
What you need before setting up a recurring stream
- A verified YouTube channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well ahead of launch. YouTube’s encoder setup guide and live-streaming guidance describe these requirements.
- A cloud encoder or service that explicitly supports playing prerecorded files to YouTube as a continuous or looping feed. A generic cloud studio or encoder listing alone does not establish playlist automation.
- Video and audio files you have the necessary rights to stream, plus your YouTube stream URL and stream key.
- A plan for how long each YouTube live event will run. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; do not assume a 24/7 broadcast will be saved as one intact video. See YouTube’s encoder guide.
Choose a cloud service that supports playlist looping
For a cloud-hosted prerecorded stream, YouTube’s verified encoder directory names Gyre as a tool for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded videos. The listing does not establish Gyre’s current India availability, price, detailed setup steps, or whether its current interface offers the recurring calendar controls you need. Confirm those points directly with the provider before subscribing.

YouTube also lists AWS Elemental MediaLive and Restream as encoders. The directory descriptions do not establish that either provides turnkey recurring playlist loops: AWS Elemental MediaLive is positioned as a more technical, broadcast-grade option, while Restream is a cloud studio and multistreaming product. Verify the exact prerecorded-playback and scheduling workflow rather than assuming an encoder listing includes it. YouTube’s encoder directory

- Can it play uploaded prerecorded files continuously or loop a playlist to YouTube?
- Can it schedule recurring start and stop times, and recover if the connection is interrupted?
- Does it connect using YouTube’s stream URL and key, or a supported integration?
- Which file formats, resolutions, bitrates, audio options, and playlist controls does it support?
- What are its current account availability in India, billing and tax terms, support hours, and any regional hosting choices?
- What are its current costs, stream-hour and storage limits, and procedures if YouTube restricts a channel or stream key?
- Can you monitor service health and check the YouTube preview and public watch page?
These details are provider-specific and may change. The YouTube directory does not establish India-specific provider terms, local data-center placement, rupee pricing, taxes, support hours, or partner arrangements. That lack of confirmation is not evidence that a service is unavailable in India.
Schedule the YouTube live event
- Open YouTube Studio and Live Control Room. Go to the Manage tab and schedule a stream. YouTube’s current help instructions use this route. Scheduling creates an individual event and watch page that viewers can share; it may also let them set reminder notifications. YouTube: stream using an encoder
- Choose the event time and details. Set the event’s title, description, visibility, and start time in Studio. Make sure those details match the intended playlist and audience.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key. Enter them in the cloud service’s YouTube output settings. Treat the key like a password: it identifies your stream and allows an encoder to send its feed. If it is exposed, reset it in Studio and replace it in the service. YouTube: manage live stream settings
Configure the playlist and recurrence in the cloud service
- Upload or select authorized video files. Use only files you have permission to broadcast. A video being publicly watchable on YouTube does not grant permission to retransmit it in a live stream.
- Set playlist order and looping. Arrange the sequence and enable continuous playback or looping if the service offers it.
- Set the run window or recurring schedule. Configure start and stop times in the cloud service if supported. YouTube scheduling creates an individual event; reusing stream settings, reusing a key, or enabling YouTube auto-start and auto-stop does not by itself create an automatic recurring calendar or an endlessly looping playlist.
- Connect the YouTube destination. Save the stream URL and key or complete the service’s supported YouTube integration. Follow that provider’s current instructions for the actual interface; YouTube’s directory listing does not document a vendor’s setup screens.
Gyre is the specific 24/7 prerecorded-video example named in YouTube’s encoder directory, but that directory does not document its current click-by-click setup or India-specific settings. Confirm the playlist, recurrence, account, and billing details in the provider’s current documentation and interface.

Validate the stream before its scheduled start
- Set up early. YouTube recommends setting up an encoder at least two hours before the scheduled event and starting it 15 minutes early. YouTube’s live-streaming guidance
- Start playback in the cloud service. Confirm it is sending the intended playlist to the correct YouTube event.
- Check Live Control Room preview. Verify that video and audio appear, then monitor the stream as it approaches the scheduled start.
- Check the watch page. Confirm it is accessible to the intended audience and shows the expected title and event status.
- Plan event length and archives. If you need an archive, account for YouTube’s stated automatic-archive condition: streams under 12 hours. A continuous 24/7 broadcast should not be expected to produce one intact archive under that guidance. YouTube’s encoder guide
Rights, YouTube rules, and monetization
Clear broadcast rights
YouTube’s livestream terms say the channel provider represents that it has the rights necessary for worldwide exploitation of live content, including music licensing rights and other applicable rights. A public YouTube video or playlist is not automatically cleared for rebroadcast in your live stream. YouTube livestream terms and conditions
Permission does not guarantee monetization
YouTube reviews reused content separately from copyright enforcement. Its monetization policy applies to live streams and says repetitive or mass-produced material falls under its “inauthentic content” policy; the policy page says this clarification took effect on July 15, 2025. A playlist of reused material with little added creative, educational, or entertainment value may put monetization eligibility at risk even if you have permission to use the files. Eligible YouTube Partner Program creators may monetize live streams, but eligibility and content remain subject to applicable policies; a cloud service cannot guarantee approval or ad revenue. Observe live-stream limits
YouTube requires live content to follow its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, sets a minimum livestreaming age of 16, and documents limits of 10 active streams per channel and three active streams per stream key. Check YouTube’s current rules before operating multiple simultaneous feeds. YouTube live-streaming guidance
Troubleshoot common setup problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check or do |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start a live stream. | The channel is not verified, live streaming is not enabled yet, or the channel has a live-streaming restriction. | Check the channel’s eligibility in YouTube Studio. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours; YouTube’s stated eligibility includes having no live-stream restrictions in the previous 90 days. |
| YouTube receives no signal. | The cloud service is not playing, or its destination URL or stream key is incorrect or outdated. | Confirm playback is running and the correct YouTube event is selected. Recopy the URL and key from Studio; if the key may have been exposed, reset it there and update the service. |
| The playlist does not repeat or start at the expected time. | Playlist looping or recurring scheduling may not be supported, may be disabled, or may be configured in the provider rather than YouTube. | Check the service’s current playlist and scheduling controls. A scheduled YouTube event is not itself proof that the provider will repeat the playlist or create later events. |
| The preview is missing audio or video. | The feed may not be playing as intended, or the selected file, audio, or output settings may not be accepted by the service. | Check playback and the service’s supported media formats and output requirements, then verify the feed in Live Control Room before the event begins. |
| The stream ends or cannot run as one long archive. | YouTube’s automatic-archive guidance applies to streams under 12 hours, not an assumed intact 24/7 recording. | Plan event duration and archiving around YouTube’s documented limit, and verify the current behavior in Studio. |
| The content is live but monetization is uncertain. | Copyright permission and YouTube Partner Program eligibility are separate questions; repetitive or reused material may not meet monetization policy. | Review rights for every asset and add meaningful original value where appropriate. Do not treat continuous uptime or permission alone as a monetization guarantee. |
