Reach does not currently insert the exact item purchased into the email automatically, so write copy that suits the products covered by the flow.
Check your store and Reach plan
Hostinger documents post-purchase automation for three store setups: WooCommerce connected through WordPress, an ecommerce store built with Hostinger AI Builder, and Hostinger eCommerce connected through Reach’s Integrations area. The connection method depends on which store you use; you do not need to move an existing store to another platform.

Hostinger says automations require a paid Reach plan. Its plan overview describes the free plan as covering campaigns and contact management, without automated workflows: Reach plans and pricing.
Create and activate the post-purchase flow
- Sign in to Hostinger Reach and open Automations.
- Choose Ecommerce, then select the predefined post-purchase flow. Hostinger’s integration material also calls this a Purchase follow-up.
- Review the preconfigured trigger for a contact who completed a purchase. This is an order the store confirms after successful checkout and payment, not a checkout that was merely started.
- Set the product scope: choose all products, or select specific products by adding their public product-page URLs. Hostinger’s support guide allows up to 15 products for this targeting.
- Select an existing email template or create or generate one in Reach. Edit the message for the selected products or category, or use wording suitable for every order in the flow.
- Review the trigger, product scope, and message, then activate the automation.
Once the connected store sends Reach a qualifying completed-purchase event, the automation can start for a matching contact. The store connection is what enables purchase tracking; if the trigger is unavailable, check the connection and confirm ecommerce is active.

Choose the right product scope and message
A single flow covering all products is simpler to maintain, but its message needs to make sense for every order. Separate flows targeted to particular products or categories let you write more relevant instructions, at the cost of creating and maintaining more automations. Hostinger’s documentation does not establish that either approach performs better in sales or engagement.
Reach currently cannot insert the exact purchased product dynamically into the email body. Hostinger’s Help Center states: “At this time, REACH does not support dynamically displaying the exact purchased product inside the email content automatically.” Product-specific targeting is available, but it is not the same thing as dynamic product-name, image, or detail insertion.
Useful post-purchase copy can explain what happens next, offer care or usage guidance, point to support, request a review, or suggest a relevant complementary product. Keep the message accurate for every item covered by the automation; if the content is category-specific, make sure the flow’s product scope matches that category.
Handle checkout consent for Hostinger eCommerce
If you use Hostinger eCommerce and want to collect marketing subscribers through checkout, enable the marketing-consent checkbox in the store’s checkout settings. Hostinger says customers who consent are transferred to Reach as subscribers and tagged as checkout contacts. Its guidance also says marketing emails go only to contacts who agreed to receive them.
Consent and subscriber status affect whether a contact is eligible for marketing email. Check the rules that apply to your business and recipients’ locations; Hostinger’s setup material does not establish jurisdiction-specific legal requirements.
Quick Recap
Troubleshoot a missing flow or email
- No connected website or store: Connect WordPress through the Reach integration, connect the Hostinger AI Builder ecommerce site, or connect the Hostinger eCommerce store through Integrations.
- WooCommerce is not detected: Confirm the WooCommerce plugin is installed on the WordPress site connected to Reach.
- The AI Builder store is absent: Add or enable the store in the AI Builder editor, then check the Reach connection.
- No purchase trigger or ecommerce flow appears: Verify that ecommerce is active and the store integration is connected. Hostinger says purchase tracking is automatic after connection.
- The message needs to name the purchased item: Use a flow limited to relevant products and write matching copy manually; automatic insertion of the exact item is not supported.
- Hostinger eCommerce contacts do not receive marketing mail: Check whether checkout marketing consent was enabled and whether the customer was added to Reach as a subscriber.
