How to Set Up a 24/7 Durga Bhajan Stream on YouTube With a Static Image

A still image can accompany continuous bhajan audio on YouTube, but you still need an encoder, rights-cleared media, and a plan for interruptions and recordings.

You can run a 24/7 Durga bhajan stream on YouTube by pairing a still image with continuous bhajan audio in an encoder, then sending that feed to a YouTube live stream. First confirm you have permission to livestream every recording and visual. A static image supplies only the video; it does not provide the audio, keep the encoder running, or protect the stream from interruptions.

Before you build the playlist, clear the rights

YouTube’s official Livestream terms say creators must have “all necessary rights” to use live content on Google services, including music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. This is YouTube’s contractual requirement, not a complete statement of local law. Confirm that your permissions cover the specific recording and the underlying composition, as well as your intended livestream use and territories. A devotional song’s age or subject does not establish that a particular recording is free to rebroadcast.

Check the rights for the still image, logo, lyrics, and any other visuals, too. Keep a record of the rights holder, permission or license, permitted livestream use, territories, and any required attribution. YouTube advises creators with licensed third-party content to ask the rights owner to add their channel to its Content ID allowlist: a license alone may not prevent a live interruption. What you need for a 24/7 stream

  • A YouTube channel with live streaming enabled.
  • Bhajan audio you are authorized to livestream, arranged as a continuous playlist or another continuous audio source.
  • A still image you are authorized to use.
  • An encoder that combines the image and audio and sends a continuous feed to YouTube.
  • A dependable operating setup and a plan to monitor interruptions and preserve a recording if you need one.

YouTube distinguishes the viewer-facing broadcast from the incoming audio-video stream. In practice, you create the broadcast in Studio and connect an encoder that sends the feed to it. The still image is simply the video source; YouTube does not provide a special “static image” mode that replaces the encoder. YouTube Live Streaming API documentation

How to set up the stream in YouTube Studio

  1. Confirm channel access. YouTube’s general eligibility guidance says a channel must be verified, have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days, and belong to a user at least 16 years old. Check that live streaming is available on your account before scheduling. YouTube live-streaming eligibility
  2. Prepare and check your media. Set up continuous playback of the rights-cleared bhajan audio and pair it with the still image in your encoder. Listen and watch long enough to confirm both sources remain present and that the audio loop transitions as intended. There is no single resolution, bitrate, keyframe interval, or loop length established for this exact static-image use case; follow your encoder’s current guidance and YouTube’s current supported settings rather than assuming one universal configuration.
  3. Create the stream. In YouTube Studio, go to Create → Go Live → Stream. Create or schedule the event, then copy the stream URL and stream key into the encoder’s stream settings. Treat the key like a password: do not share it publicly, and reset it if it is exposed. YouTube encoder setup guidance
  4. Start the encoder and inspect the preview. Confirm that YouTube’s Live Control Room receives the image and audio before you make the feed public. Check the viewer-facing watch page as well, so you know what viewers will see and hear.
  5. Test and monitor. YouTube recommends configuring encoders at least two hours before an event and starting at least 15 minutes ahead of its scheduled start. Check the preview, verify the watch page on viewer devices, monitor sound and picture, and confirm local archive files are growing if you are recording. These are operational recommendations, not a guarantee that a continuous stream will never fail. YouTube live-streaming tips

Choose how the encoder will run continuously

Run it on a computer you control

A local computer running encoder software is a direct option, but it must stay powered on and connected to the internet for the feed to continue. Plan for power and upload connectivity, and monitor playback and the YouTube preview. A mini PC is one possible always-on hardware route, not a YouTube requirement; check the chosen encoder’s current system requirements before buying hardware.

Compare local and cloud operation before deciding

Compare who supplies reliable power and network access, whether playback can resume after an interruption, how you can monitor failures, whether the workflow creates a usable recording, and the cost and control of your media. These are decision points, not guarantees about any particular provider. If replay matters, establish who records the stream and where the file is kept before going live.

Copyright matches can interrupt a licensed stream

YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it identifies a match, it may replace the picture with a placeholder, warn the streamer, interrupt or terminate the stream, or apply a strike, depending on the circumstances. If you have permission, ask the rights owner whether your channel must be allowlisted in Content ID. If a problem appears, investigate it in YouTube Studio and resolve the rights issue instead of repeatedly restarting with the same uncleared material. YouTube copyright and Content ID guidance

YouTube’s separate live Content ID matching feature is not a creator-side safety checker for bhajans. It is available only to certain Content Manager partners and has requirements that include worldwide rights and exclusive ownership. YouTube live-streaming eligibility

Will YouTube save the full 24-hour stream?

Do not rely on YouTube to archive a single stream lasting 24 hours. YouTube Help says automatic archiving is available for streams under 12 hours; a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. YouTube also recommends keeping a local backup. DVR rewind may be limited or unavailable on very long streams, so viewers might not be able to rewind through the full broadcast. If a replay matters, record locally and consider planned shorter broadcasts, weighing the archive and DVR limitations against the continuity you want for viewers. Check YouTube Studio’s current behavior for your schedule. YouTube: Archive live streams · YouTube DVR guidance

Troubleshooting a Durga bhajan stream

  • You cannot start a live stream: Check that the channel is verified, meets YouTube’s age requirement, and has no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days.
  • YouTube receives no image or sound: Check that the encoder is sending to the stream URL with the correct key, and confirm its image and audio sources are active. Inspect the Live Control Room preview before making the broadcast public.
  • A rights warning appears or the feed is interrupted: Review the notice in Studio and confirm the specific recording and composition are covered. If licensed, ask the rights owner about Content ID allowlisting before restarting.
  • The stream stops when you leave: If you use a local encoder, make sure the computer remains powered, the encoder stays open, and the internet connection remains available. A still image cannot keep the encoder or connection running.
  • The replay is missing or incomplete: A stream longer than 12 hours may not be archived. Use a local recording if you need a dependable copy, and check that the recording file is growing during the broadcast.
