Identify the caliber on the caseback, paperwork, or model documentation, then use its matching Citizen manual: F150 and F950 have different controls, and you should not mix their button sequences. GPS time reception does not set daylight saving time (DST), so check that setting separately.
Identify your Attesa movement first
“Attesa” covers multiple watches and movements, not one universal setting procedure. Citizen’s official manual index lists separate guides for F150, F900, and F950. Citizen US likewise advises owners to find instructions for their specific model or caliber through its support page.

Check the caseback, paperwork, or model documentation for the caliber. If you cannot confirm it, use Citizen’s manual finder or contact support before operating the crown and buttons. The instructions below cover the F150 and F950 procedures established in their manuals; for an F900, follow the F900 manual rather than assuming its controls match either one.

F150: set the time zone and DST
The F150 manual specifies 40 world-time zones represented by offsets from UTC. Its zone data is based on January 2015, so use the current UTC offset and local DST rules rather than relying only on a representative city label.

F950: select home or local time, then set the zone or DST
The F950 uses a different procedure: select mode TME or LLI and pull the crown to position 2. It can separately adjust home time and local time. Button B (upper right) switches the setting target; button A (lower right) changes DST.
Choose a time zone
- Set the mode to TME or LLI, then pull the crown out to position 2.
- The second hand indicates the home-time zone. To change the local-time zone instead, press button B (upper right) to switch the target.
- Rotate the crown to select the required zone.
- Push the crown back to position 0 to finish.
In UTC mode, the F950 manual says only the home time-zone setting can be changed. Consult the F950 instruction manual for the hand and mode details.

Citizen describes the F900 as using 40 UTC-offset world-time zones and notes that satellite time signals do not include DST information; DST must be set manually around the local time change. The F900 has its own guide in Citizen’s F900 manual. Use that guide for the button sequence rather than transferring the F150 or F950 steps to it.

If the displayed time is still wrong
- It is one hour off after time reception: Check the DST state separately. Satellite reception does not set it.
- The wrong clock changed: On the F950, confirm whether home or local time is selected; button B switches the setting target.
- A city label seems unfamiliar: Check the UTC offset and current local rules. Representative city labels and DST periods may not reflect current rules for every country or area.
- You are unsure which instructions apply: Identify the caliber and use the matching Citizen manual or support channel instead of testing button combinations.
