Send the settings in the generation request
Html2Pdf.app uses an authenticated POST request with JSON. Authentication is supplied in the X-API-Key header. The html field can contain either a publicly reachable URL or raw HTML. The page-size and margin settings are API request options, not steps in a graphical settings panel. [Official documentation] [Official cURL examples]

This illustrative payload requests A4 portrait pages and 24 pixels of whitespace on each side. The margin values are examples, not the service defaults; each margin defaults to zero.

Use a named format
Set format to a documented standard size when it meets the document’s needs. Supported values are Letter, Legal, Tabloid, Ledger, and A0 through A6. The documented default is A4. Use the value as a string, for example "format": "Letter". [Html2Pdf.app documentation]

Set orientation independently
Set landscape to true for landscape orientation. Its documented default is false, meaning portrait. This setting is separate from the format choice.
Provide both dimensions for a custom page
For a custom page size, set both width and height as integer pixel values. The documentation specifies them as a pair; one field alone does not define the complete custom size. For example, a request could include "width": 800 and "height": 1100 to specify pixel dimensions. These are example values, not a named paper standard. [Html2Pdf.app documentation]

Set each margin separately
Margins are whitespace, measured in pixels, between the page edge and the rendered content. Configure each edge independently:

marginTop— top margin.marginRight— right margin.marginBottom— bottom margin.marginLeft— left margin.
Each field’s documented default is 0. If the layout needs equal margins, assign the same pixel value to all four fields; otherwise, use different values for the edges that need them. [Html2Pdf.app documentation] [Official cURL examples]

Check rendering before production
Html2Pdf.app says conversions run in headless Chromium, supporting modern HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Output can still vary with CSS media mode, available fonts and resources, and JavaScript load timing. Test representative documents before relying on the generated PDFs in production, especially when the page depends on external assets or scripts. [Html2Pdf.app documentation]
