On an OPPO Find X10, set a photo as wallpaper from Settings > Home screen, Lock screen & style > Wallpapers on ColorOS 16 and above. In the preview, adjust the photo’s position or size before applying it. For a sharp portrait wallpaper, start with an image close to the phone’s portrait display resolution of 1272 × 2768 pixels; the preview is still the final check for cropping.
Check the ColorOS version and open the wallpaper settings
OPPO’s Find X10 product listing identifies the phone as running ColorOS 17. OPPO’s general instructions for ColorOS 16 and above give this route:

- Open Settings > About Phone and check the ColorOS version.
- For ColorOS 16 and above, go to Settings > Home screen, Lock screen & style > Wallpapers.
- Select a personal photo or wallpaper, then use the preview controls to adjust its position or size.
- Choose the home screen, lock screen, or both if those options appear, and confirm the preview before applying.
Menu labels and available choices can vary by model or software version. OPPO lists these alternative routes for older ColorOS releases:

- ColorOS 15: Settings > Wallpapers & style > Wallpapers.
- ColorOS 13–14: Settings > Wallpapers & Style > Wallpapers.
- ColorOS 11–12: Settings > Personalizations > Wallpapers.

Choose an image that fits the Find X10 display
OPPO lists the Find X10 display resolution as 2768 × 1272 pixels. For a portrait wallpaper, use the same dimensions turned upright: 1272 × 2768 pixels. A portrait image with a similar shape and at least those pixel dimensions is a practical starting point: it helps avoid enlarging a smaller image and reduces unnecessary cropping.
That is guidance based on the published display dimensions, not a guarantee that every image will appear edge-to-edge without a crop. A photo with a different shape may need part of its edges trimmed to fill the screen. Check the on-phone preview and reposition the image so the subject remains in the visible area. Reduce softness without sacrificing the composition
If the wallpaper looks soft, try the highest-resolution original photo you have rather than repeatedly enlarging or re-saving a small copy. A source image below the display’s portrait dimensions may need enlargement to fill the screen, which can make softness more noticeable. Even a sufficiently large file may require repositioning or cropping, so prioritize keeping important details inside the preview’s visible area.

If the menu or result differs
- The listed path is missing: verify the ColorOS version under Settings > About Phone, then use the corresponding route above. Labels may differ on your software build.
- The photo is cut off: move or resize it in the preview, or try a portrait source image closer in shape to 1272 × 2768 pixels.
- The wallpaper looks blurry: choose a higher-resolution original instead of enlarging a small image.
- You do not see separate screen choices: apply only to the destination offered by your version; available choices vary.
OPPO’s general guide covers ColorOS 16 and above, and its product listing identifies ColorOS 17 for the Find X10. Those sources do not verify the exact menu path on every regional ColorOS 17 variant, so follow the labels and preview shown on your own phone.
