The key detail is what “send a screenshot” means: mapping a screenshot URL into a message may post only a link. To show an image attachment, check the current module fields and confirm that your scenario uploads or attaches the image in your Teams tenant.
What the Make workflow can do
Make describes a scenario as a workflow made from modules, with mapping used to connect data from one module to another. For this task, the documented integration pairing is a URL screenshot action in HTML/CSS to Image followed by Microsoft Teams’ Send a Message action. The Teams action is described as posting to a team channel or a chat.

The integration listings establish that these actions exist, but they do not document a universal field-by-field recipe for turning the capture result into a Teams image attachment. The screenshot module’s output and the fields available in your Teams module determine whether you can attach an image directly, need an upload step, or can send only a link.

- Create a scenario. In Make, start a new scenario and add the HTML/CSS to Image integration.
- Choose the screenshot action. Select Create a Screenshot of a URL, enter the webpage address, and set any capture options offered by the module. Available fields can change, so use the options shown in your current Make interface rather than assuming a particular setting exists.
- Add the Teams action. Add Microsoft Teams → Send a Message, then choose the intended team and channel or chat using the destination fields shown in the module.
- Run a test capture. Use a page you are allowed to access and capture. Run the scenario, then inspect the screenshot module’s output bundle. Determine whether it contains file data, a downloadable URL, or another kind of reference.
- Map the result appropriately. Connect the output to a Teams field that accepts that type of value. If you need an actual visible image attachment, confirm that the route uploads or attaches the image; putting a URL in the message body can result in a link rather than an attachment.
- Verify the delivered message. Run the complete scenario and check the resulting message in the actual Teams tenant. Confirm the destination, whether the image is attached or merely linked, and how it renders before scheduling the scenario.
Link versus image attachment
If a link is enough
If the capture action returns a downloadable URL, you may be able to map that value into the Teams message body. Test the result: a URL in a message is not the same as an uploaded image, and its visibility may depend on how the destination handles or can access the link.

If the image must appear as an attachment
Inspect the live Teams module for fields or an upload route that accepts the screenshot as a file. If the screenshot module returns file data, map it only into a field that accepts file data. If it returns a URL or another reference, you may need an additional file-fetch or upload step. The available documentation does not establish one universal sequence or guarantee that a particular Teams module field accepts a screenshot attachment, so verify the options in your scenario and test the result in your tenant.
Alternative capture options in Make
Make also lists a GetScreenshot app with Take Screenshot and Take Element Screenshot actions. Its app documentation says an active account and API key are required. The page is labeled AI-generated content and cautions that it may contain mistakes, so check the vendor’s documentation before relying on its configuration details. Compared with HTML/CSS to Image’s listed URL action, GetScreenshot lists both page and selected-element capture, but requires a separate account and key. In either case, inspect the output type and determine what additional mapping or upload work is needed for Teams.

Using Make’s HTTP modules for file handling
Make’s HTTP app documentation describes support for mapping a file from a prior module into a multipart/form-data request. That may be useful when a screenshot provider returns file data and a separate upload endpoint is required. The HTTP documentation also says module URLs must begin with https://, self-signed certificates that are not verified are rejected, and a setting can stop a scenario when an HTTP response is 4xx or 5xx.

They do not identify a Teams upload endpoint or prove that a particular upload flow will work for your account. Use the HTTP module only when you have the correct destination and request requirements, and test both successful and error responses.

Common problems and fixes
- The Teams message contains a URL but no image. The scenario may have mapped a link into the message body rather than uploading an image. Inspect the capture output type and the Teams module’s accepted fields; add a supported upload route if an attachment is required.
- The mapped value is rejected or appears unusable. The source may return a URL or reference while the destination expects file data, or vice versa. Inspect the screenshot module’s output bundle and map a value with the type the next module accepts.
- The message goes to the wrong place. Recheck the team, channel, or chat selected in the Teams action, then run a test and inspect the received message.
- An HTTP transfer fails. Check that the URL begins with
https://and that the destination does not rely on an unverified self-signed certificate. If the module returns a 4xx or 5xx response, inspect the response and request configuration; use the HTTP error-stop setting if you want the scenario to stop on those status codes. - The capture or delivery works in a test but not as expected when scheduled. Run the full scenario with the actual page and destination, then confirm the result in the intended Teams tenant before enabling the schedule.
Performance, reliability, and cost considerations
The cited Make integration information establishes the relevant actions and general mapping and HTTP capabilities, but does not specify current execution times, service limits, prices, tenant permissions, or guaranteed delivery behavior for this workflow. Avoid assuming a capture will finish within a fixed time or that a screenshot URL will remain accessible indefinitely. Test the complete route with your own page and tenant, and check the current service and module details when planning recurring runs.
