Then return to the top and use Chrome DevTools’ Capture a full size screenshot command. The full-page command captures off-screen content, but it does not guarantee that every Wix image, gallery item, or interactive element has loaded—inspect the saved screenshot and revisit anything missing.
Why Wix images can be missing or blurry in a screenshot
Wix says lazy loading is enabled by default: images and videos are delayed until they enter the visitor’s viewport. Wix also describes low-resolution placeholders that are replaced by higher-quality media as the page loads and visitors scroll. If you capture the page before those sections have been visited and their images have resolved, the screenshot may show a placeholder or incomplete media.

Wix says its built-in lazy loading cannot be disabled. Prepare the page by scrolling and waiting rather than looking for a dashboard switch. Chrome’s full-size screenshot captures the whole page, including content outside the visible viewport, but that capture extent is not a promise that the command will trigger every page-specific loading behavior. Wix explains lazy loading in its site-performance guidance, and describes placeholder and high-resolution image behavior.

Capture the published Wix page in Chrome
- Open the published page. Use the live Wix page in Chrome, not the Wix editor. Navigate to the page you want to document.
- Scroll down in viewport-sized sections. Pause as each section enters view. Wait for images to appear and for any visibly soft or pixelated placeholder to become sharp. On long pages, work through the major sections in stages rather than jumping straight to the bottom.
- Activate content that needs interaction. If the page has a gallery, carousel, animation, or other interactive widget, use its controls to expose the items you need. Wait for those items to load. Behavior can vary by page and third-party widget.
- Return to the top. Once the relevant content has appeared and resolved, scroll back to the beginning of the page.
- Open Chrome DevTools Device Mode. Open DevTools, then enable Device Mode if it is not already active. In Device Mode, open the More options menu and select Capture a full size screenshot. Chrome saves an image of the entire page, including off-screen content. See Chrome’s Device Mode documentation for the capture command.
- Check the saved image. Inspect the full page, especially galleries and sections that loaded slowly. If an image is absent or blurry, return to that part of the page, bring it into view, trigger any necessary controls, wait, and capture again. You can also capture a specific region separately.
Capture only a region or diagnose loading
Capture one area
For a single visible region, open Chrome’s Command Menu with Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+Shift+P on Mac. Type screenshot and choose Capture area screenshot, then select the region. Chrome notes that area capture does not work when DevTools is undocked. This is a region capture, not a substitute for the full-page workflow when you need the entire Wix page.

See when assets load
If you need to understand the timing of image requests, use the DevTools Network panel’s screenshot capture during page loading and compare the timeline with network activity. This helps diagnose loading; it is not the same thing as saving a full-page screenshot. See Chrome’s Command Menu documentation for these DevTools workflows.
Troubleshoot missing, blurry, or incomplete images
- An image is still blurry: Keep it in view longer. Wix describes higher-quality media replacing a lower-quality placeholder in the background; capture after the sharper version appears.
- Some gallery items are absent: Scroll to the gallery, use its controls to expose the desired items, and wait before capturing. A full-size screenshot does not necessarily operate page controls for you.
- A long page has blank areas: Scroll the page in stages and check its major sections before capturing. This gives viewport-triggered media a chance to load.
- The full-size image still omits content: Revisit the affected section and check whether it depends on scrolling, a click, or another interaction. Trigger it, wait, then capture again; save a separate area image if needed.
