To see who viewed your Instagram Story, open your own active Story and swipe up, or tap the Activity/seen-by area at the bottom. Instagram displays the accounts it lists as viewers. Review the accounts shown. If you posted multiple Story frames, open each frame and check its list separately.

How long can I see who viewed my Story?
A Story normally stops being live after 24 hours. Current guides report that its viewer names may remain accessible for up to 48 hours from the original posting time, including through Archive after the Story expires. The Story itself may remain in Archive or Highlights after the names are no longer available. Treat 48 hours as reported guidance, not a guaranteed retention period, and check the list promptly. What does the viewer list show—and what doesn’t it show?

The order is not dependable evidence that someone is especially interested in you, repeatedly checks your profile, or rewatched the Story. The reviewed sources do not establish a reliable meaning for the ordering.

The evidence reviewed does not establish that the list captures every possible kind of Story access. Do not assume it identifies every person who may have encountered a Story, or rely on a third-party service claiming to reveal anonymous viewers. No substantiated evidence here supports an official Instagram setting that hides an account from the poster’s viewer list.

You can check viewers for your own Story, not inspect the viewer list for someone else’s Story.

How can I limit who sees your Story?
Instagram’s audience controls affect who can see a Story; they do not expand its viewer list.
