To check for actions you can run by voice, look in Apple’s Shortcuts app: App Access settings and Siri Shortcuts indicate different kinds of Siri support.
Check an app’s Siri settings

Open Settings and tap Siri. Depending on your iOS version, the menu may instead be called Apple Intelligence & Siri. Apple’s settings guide documents the version-dependent label.

Tap App Access, then choose an app. Review whether Learn from this App is enabled and which suggestion options appear. Examples include Show on Home Screen, Suggest App and Suggestion Notifications. The available controls vary by app and Siri version. Apple’s current Siri settings guide describes these controls.

Check whether Siri can run an app action
App Access settings are about learning and suggestions; they do not confirm that an app’s functions can be operated by voice. For voice-run actions, open the Shortcuts app and look for shortcuts associated with the app. Apple notes that “Apps can offer shortcuts for things you do frequently.” Some apps provide shortcuts automatically, and you can add suggested shortcuts or create and manage your own in Shortcuts. To run one, activate Siri and say the shortcut’s name. See Apple’s guides to using Siri with apps and running shortcuts with your voice.

An app may expose some actions to Siri while other features still require opening the app and using it normally. Check the particular app and action on your iPhone; Apple does not promise that every third-party app feature is available by voice.

Examples of built-in Siri actions
Apple’s iPhone guide gives examples of asking Siri to add a reminder, set an alarm or timer, and create or change a calendar event. These are examples of specific supported tasks, not a guarantee that every app—or every feature within an app—works with Siri. Apple’s guide to using Siri on iPhone describes these examples.

If Siri does not respond
Check that the iPhone has an internet connection and that Siri is enabled. Apple’s troubleshooting guide for Siri not working on iPhone or iPad provides further checks.
