If you are enrolled and the course page is visible to you, use your device’s built-in screenshot controls to capture what is on screen. Keep the image for personal study, check the coaching provider’s terms, and do not share or sell the capture without permission. A subscription gives access under the provider’s rules; it does not automatically grant permission to reproduce or redistribute course materials.
Capture the page using your device’s normal controls
Sign in through the coaching provider’s usual website or app, open the course page you are permitted to view, and capture the visible screen. Save the image somewhere private and use it only in a way allowed by the provider’s terms.

Windows 10 and 11
- Open the course page and display the section you need.
- Press Windows+Shift+S to open the Snipping Tool overlay.
- Select the appropriate capture mode, such as rectangular area, window, or full screen, and capture the visible content.
- Open the snip in Snipping Tool and save it.

Mac
- Open the permitted course page.
- Press Shift-Command-4 and drag over the area you want, Shift-Command-3 for the full display, or Shift-Command-5 to open Screenshot controls.
- Locate the saved screenshot. By default, it normally appears on the desktop unless you changed the save location.
Apple notes that some apps may prevent screenshots of their windows. If the course app blocks capture, do not try to defeat that restriction. See Take a screenshot on Mac.

iPhone
- On an iPhone with Face ID, quickly press and release the side button and volume-up button together.
- On a Home-button model, press the applicable side or top button together with the Home button.
- Find the screenshot in Photos.
For supported pages in Safari, the capture preview may offer Full Page to include content beyond the current viewport. This is not a guarantee that every app or protected course page supports full-page capture. Consult Take a screenshot on iPhone for model-specific details.
Android
Android button combinations vary by device and model. Use the manufacturer’s official instructions or the screenshot control documented for your exact phone; do not assume one combination works on every Android device.

When a download or print option may be better
If the provider offers a download, print, or export control for the material, check its terms and use that route when it is expressly permitted. A provider-supplied file may be easier to store or read than a screen image, but the available options for an unidentified coaching site are not established here. Do not use browser developer tools, scripts, modified clients, or DRM-removal methods to obtain material beyond your ordinary logged-in access.
Check copyright and course terms before keeping or sharing a capture
The Copyright Office of India describes Section 52(1)(a) of the Copyright Act as allowing fair dealing for “private or personal use, including research,” as well as specified purposes such as criticism or review. That is not a blanket ruling that every screenshot of a paid course is permitted, nor does it authorize redistribution. Section 51 addresses acts without a licence or contrary to licence conditions. Whether a particular capture is allowed depends on its circumstances, including purpose, amount, licence, platform terms, and any later sharing. Read the terms for the actual coaching provider. SWAYAM, for example, says: “Unless otherwise expressly stated on the SWAYAM Site, the texts, exams, video, images, and other instructional materials provided with the courses and programs offered on the SWAYAM Site are for your personal use in connection with those courses and programs only.” SWAYAM’s terms are an example, not rules for another provider; some SWAYAM materials may also have separate conditions. If the screenshot is blocked or the result is incomplete
- The app refuses capture: Treat that as a restriction. Ask the provider whether it offers an authorized download or an accessible alternative; do not attempt to circumvent the block.
- The capture shows only part of the page: Scroll to the next section and take another ordinary screenshot, or use a provider-supplied export if one is available and permitted. A full-page option is device- and app-dependent.
- You cannot find the saved image: Check the default screenshot location for your device—Photos on iPhone, or the location selected in Snipping Tool or macOS Screenshot settings on a computer.
- You are unsure whether keeping or sharing it is allowed: Check the provider’s current terms or ask its support team. Do not assume a paid login makes sharing permissible.
