In Vivaldi on Mac, open the page, click the camera-shaped Capture control in the Status Bar, and choose Full Page or Selection. Then save the image as PNG or JPEG, copy it to the clipboard, or attach it to a Vivaldi Note.
Capture a webpage in Vivaldi on Mac
- Open the webpage you want to capture in Vivaldi.
- Click the camera-shaped Capture control in the Status Bar at the bottom of the browser window.
- Choose Full Page to capture the page from top to bottom, or Selection to capture a region. You can resize the selection before taking the screenshot.
- Choose an output: save as PNG or JPEG, copy the image to the clipboard, or create a Note with the capture.
Vivaldi’s official Capture a Screenshot help page documents the built-in tool and its modes. Its Full Page capture has a maximum length of 30,000 pixels; very long pages may exceed that limit.

Choose the right capture mode and output

| Full Page | A page you need to preserve beyond the currently visible viewport. | Captures the page vertically, subject to the documented 30,000-pixel maximum length. |
| Selection | A specific part of a page rather than the whole page. | Lets you define and resize the region before capture. |
| Save as PNG or JPEG | A file you can keep or share. | Saves the screenshot in the selected image format. |
| Copy to Clipboard | Immediate use in another app or document. | Copies the image so you can paste it elsewhere. |
| Create Note With… | A capture you want to keep with browsing context in Vivaldi. | Creates a Vivaldi Note attachment with the webpage link and capture date; you can add a title and description. |
Open Capture without the Status Bar button
If the camera control is hidden or unavailable in your current layout, use Quick Commands: press ⌘ E, type Capture, choose the relevant capture command, and press Return. Vivaldi also documents F2 as a Quick Commands shortcut.

Vivaldi’s help documents customizable shortcuts but does not establish a dedicated screenshot shortcut as the default on Mac.

Change where screenshots are saved
To change the destination folder or filename pattern, open Settings > Webpages > Image Capture. Adjust Capture Storage Folder or Capture File Name Template. Labels or control visibility may vary with browser version or personal settings; if you cannot find an option, search Settings for Capture.
