Make it easy for a potential sponsor to answer three questions: who watches your stream, why your audience fits the brand, and what you can deliver. Prepare a concise, evidence-based pitch; look for opportunities through platform tools and direct outreach; review the campaign terms before agreeing; and disclose paid or gifted endorsements clearly during the stream.
Prepare your channel before you pitch
A sponsor needs to understand your channel quickly. Make your profile and any media kit accurate, current, and specific to the work you actually do. Twitch’s Creator Profile gives Partners and Affiliates a place to share channel information and sponsorship interests. Twitch says a completed profile can increase the chance of sponsorship opportunities, and that the profile is visible to brands with an advertising relationship with Twitch. Treat that as a discovery aid, not a guarantee of an offer.

What to include in a concise pitch
- Channel identity: what you stream, your format, and the community you serve.
- Audience evidence: current figures from verified platform analytics where available. State the measurement period and avoid unsupported audience demographics or estimates.
- Brand fit: why the brand’s product or service is relevant to your actual viewers, rather than simply naming a popular company.
- A concrete activation: the content or placement you propose, such as a live mention or an agreed on-screen asset, subject to the campaign brief.
- Reporting: what evidence you can provide after the campaign, such as the agreed VOD, clips, or platform reporting.
Twitch says its Creator Profile can use official Twitch audience and demographic data when creators connect with brands. Do not invent numbers, audience characteristics, or past campaign results. There is no universal pitch template or response rate established by the available platform information, so tailor the proposal to the brand and keep it short enough to assess easily.

Twitch sponsorship opportunities
Twitch’s August 20, 2026 announcement says Affiliates must accept the Sponsorship Portal terms and complete Creator Sponsorship Certification to be eligible for opportunities. Twitch says creators whose profiles match an opportunity receive an email and notification. These are eligibility and discovery steps; they do not promise selection. Check your current creator dashboard for availability and requirements, since platform terms and campaign fit can change.

Twitch also announced a partnership with Wehype to surface additional third-party offers in the dashboard. Its 2025 announcement described StreamElements as an early sponsorship partner and positioned platform opportunities as an addition to other ways creators find sponsors. Treat each route according to its current availability rather than assuming every creator will see the same offers.
Streamlabs campaigns
Streamlabs’ sponsorship app uses an application process: if approved, the creator receives a notification and contract. Campaigns can specify their own brief, required assets, links or codes, timelines, and clip submission. Streamlabs says access is currently tied to streaming from Streamlabs Desktop, and some campaigns may require Twitch clips. Check the campaign’s live terms before applying or changing your setup.

Streamlabs’ current FAQ says payment timing is at the sponsor’s discretion. It gives a 30–45 day target after approval, but that is a Streamlabs-specific statement, not a general sponsorship payment standard or guarantee.

Approaching a brand directly
Direct outreach remains another route. Identify a brand whose customers overlap with your community, find an appropriate partnerships or creator-marketing contact, and send a brief proposal with your channel information, relevant audience evidence, and a specific activation idea. Do not assume that a particular outreach volume or response rate will produce a deal; no universal success rate is established.

Check the campaign before you accept
Read both the brief and the agreement. Platform workflows differ, and a campaign’s requirements should not be treated as a market-wide standard. Clarify the following in writing before committing:
- Deliverables: every required stream mention, on-screen asset, link, code, panel, post, or follow-up clip.
- Schedule: stream dates, submission deadlines, approval steps, and the evidence the sponsor or platform expects.
- Payment: amount and currency, who pays, what triggers payment, and the stated timing.
- Content rights: whether the sponsor may reuse your stream, clips, name, or likeness, and where and for how long.
- Restrictions: category exclusivity, competitor limits, cancellation terms, and what happens if a deliverable cannot be completed.
- Claims: required or prohibited product statements, and whether you can speak honestly from personal experience.
These are practical points to inspect, not terms that every sponsorship necessarily contains. If a clause is unclear, ask for clarification before signing rather than relying on an assumption about how sponsorships usually work.

Twitch defines branded content broadly: it includes content that features, uses, discusses, or promotes a product or service in exchange for value such as payment or goods and services. Be truthful about the product as well as the relationship. FTC staff guidance says creators should not claim product experience they do not have. Do not present a sponsor’s suggested claim as your personal experience unless it is true.
Deliver the campaign and keep a record
- Keep a copy of the signed agreement and final campaign brief.
- Follow the agreed schedule, placements, links or codes, and disclosure requirements.
- Save the relevant VOD or clips and any other agreed evidence of delivery.
- Submit the materials through the campaign’s stated process and retain confirmation of submission.
- Check that the delivered content and claims match both the brief and what you can honestly say.
Streamlabs says creators may need to submit clips after streaming and that campaign assets and content are reviewed before a payout decision. Follow the specific platform or sponsor instructions for your campaign rather than assuming another platform uses the same fulfillment process.
