To capture an entire webpage in Chrome on a MacBook Pro, open DevTools with Command+Option+I, open its Command Menu with Command+Shift+P, then run Capture full size screenshot. For only the visible screen, use macOS screenshot shortcuts instead. These are macOS steps; no India-specific workflow difference is established.

macOS display, area, and window screenshots capture what is on screen; they do not include the rest of a long webpage below the fold. Chrome DevTools is the relevant choice for a full-page capture.

Capture the full webpage in Chrome
- Open the website in Chrome and wait for the content you want to capture to load.
- Press Command+Option+I to open the last-used DevTools panel. Chrome’s shortcut reference documents this Mac shortcut: Chrome DevTools keyboard shortcuts.
- Press Command+Shift+P to open the DevTools Command Menu. This menu shortcut and the capture command are described in a Chrome Help Community reply dated March 6, 2025: Chrome Help Community: screenshot.
- Type capture full size screenshot and select the matching command.
- Check Chrome’s download flow for the resulting image. A third-party guide describes the capture as using the normal download flow, but confirm the save location and behavior in your installed Chrome: iTechGuides Mac screenshot guide.
Command names and page behavior can differ with Chrome versions or how a site renders. Inspect the resulting image if completeness matters, particularly for dynamic content, lazy-loaded images, or pages with their own scrolling panels.

Take a visible-screen, region, or window screenshot
- Entire display: press Shift+Command+3.
- Selected region: press Shift+Command+4, then drag over the area.
- Window: press Shift+Command+4, press Space, then click the window.
- Screenshot controls: press Shift+Command+5 to open macOS Screenshot controls. Check the controls on your macOS version if you need a particular option or timer.

Troubleshooting
- DevTools did not open: use Command+Option+I. It opens the last-used DevTools panel on Mac; if DevTools was previously docked or focused differently, check Chrome’s shortcut reference for the current behavior.
- The Command Menu did not appear: click inside DevTools and try Command+Shift+P again. The full-size capture sequence is described in a community reply rather than the official shortcut reference, so the command may not be available in every version.
- You cannot find the capture command: search for capture full size screenshot in the Command Menu. If it is absent, use a current-screen macOS shortcut for visible content or check Chrome’s current DevTools behavior.
- The capture misses content: let the page load and inspect the image. The cited guidance does not guarantee how lazy-loaded content, dynamic pages, or inner-scroll regions will be handled.
- You cannot find the saved image: check Chrome’s normal download flow and the browser’s configured download location. Exact behavior can depend on the installed Chrome setup.
Does the process differ in India?
No India-specific procedure is established by the cited guidance. The steps use Chrome on macOS and the Mac keyboard shortcuts; local keyboard remapping, macOS settings, and Chrome version may affect a particular MacBook Pro.
