If your capture tool has a PDF export control, use it to preserve the screenshot; if it only saves images, convert or print the saved image to PDF. Rendering the live page as a PDF is a different process and may not match the screenshot you already captured.
Can you export a VisualScraper screenshot directly to PDF?
There is not enough verified product documentation to give menu-by-menu VisualScraper instructions. The product identity and its export controls remain unconfirmed, so do not assume a particular button or menu exists. Check the app or browser extension you used for a PDF option, or confirm its vendor and official help page before following product-specific steps.

If the capture tool offers PDF export, use that option on the existing capture. If it offers only PNG, JPEG, or another image format, save the image and use an image-to-PDF or print-to-PDF workflow. That preserves the captured image as a page; it does not create a new rendering of the website.
How to save an existing screenshot as a PDF
Use the capture tool’s export when available
- Open the saved screenshot in the tool that created it.
- Look for an export, download, or more-options control and choose PDF if offered.
- Choose a save location and open the resulting PDF to check that the image is legible and fully included.
The exact labels and availability depend on the product. The following documented example is for Awesome Screenshot, not VisualScraper: for cloud-saved captures, its help page directs users to select More beside the screenshot and choose Download as PDF. For local captures, it says to select PDF beside the screenshot. Its default download folder is Downloads. If the capture is only an image
Open the saved image in an image viewer or document app that can print, then select the operating system’s print-to-PDF destination and save the output. Check page orientation, scaling, and margins before saving; otherwise, the image may be shrunk, cropped, or surrounded by unwanted whitespace. The available controls vary by operating system and application, so these are general image-to-PDF steps, not verified VisualScraper instructions.

A page-to-PDF command does not prove that a tool can export an earlier screenshot. For example, shot-scraper documents a PDF command equivalent to Chromium’s Print > Save to PDF, with a command-line option to choose the output filename. What to check if there is no PDF button
- Confirm the exact product name, vendor, and app or extension listing. VisualSitemaps is a separate name: its help page describes an Export > Screens workflow for sitemap screenshots, available on Pro plans and above, with one sitemap per export. - Check whether the capture is stored locally or in a cloud library; some products expose different controls for each.
- If the tool exports only an image, save it and use an image-to-PDF workflow rather than trying a webpage-to-PDF command on the assumption it will convert the existing capture.
- If you need exact product steps, identify VisualScraper’s official URL, vendor, or extension listing first. Similar product names are not enough to establish that instructions apply.
