To download your Indeed resume, sign in to the account that contains it, open the Resume tab, select the three-dot menu beside the resume, and choose Download. Indeed identifies the profile resume download as a PDF. The exact menu placement may vary while Indeed updates the interface.
Download your resume from Indeed
- Sign in to the Indeed account that holds the resume.
- Open the Resume tab.
- Find the resume and select the three-dot menu beside it. In some accounts, the menu may appear beside the resume upload button instead.
- Select Download, then use your device’s normal download prompt to save or open the file.
Indeed describes Download as a way to save a copy to your computer or device for offline use, sharing, or printing. Its FAQ identifies the profile resume download as a PDF. See Indeed’s Resume Options Menu guide and Indeed’s resume FAQ.

Know which Indeed resume you are downloading
Profile resume
This resume is generated from the information in your Indeed profile. You can edit the profile content, but Indeed says the downloaded profile resume uses one layout; changing the content does not change that layout.
Uploaded resume file
This is a file you uploaded to your profile. You can manage it from the resume options menu, including downloading it. Uploading a new file replaces the existing uploaded resume, so save a copy of the old one first if you may need it later.

Print or send the downloaded resume
Print a copy
Download the PDF first, then print it using your computer or phone’s usual print controls. Indeed’s FAQ says the downloaded profile resume can be printed.

Use it for an application
Some jobs let you apply directly with Indeed Resume; others may require you to download the resume as a PDF. If you submitted an application with the wrong resume, Indeed says to contact the employer directly to ask whether it can be changed. See Indeed’s application guidance.

The menu is in a different place
Indeed says it is gradually updating the profile and Resume options menu, so accounts may not all show the same placement. Look for the three-dot menu beside the resume file or, if that is not shown, beside the upload button. The published instructions do not establish one interface layout for every account. Check Indeed’s current menu guide if your screen differs.

Your previous upload is no longer there
Indeed says it does not retain past resume files or profiles for retrieval. If an upload has been replaced or removed, Indeed’s help information does not offer a way to recover that previous file; keep your own copies on your device or other storage.
You need to replace a file
Uploading a new resume replaces the prior uploaded file. Download or otherwise save the existing copy before uploading a replacement if you want to preserve it.
