To save a Hindi webpage as a legible PDF with Html2Pdf.app, submit its public URL to the online converter, then inspect the resulting PDF for missing letters, broken vowel marks, and malformed conjuncts. If the page looks correct in your browser but not in the PDF, check that its font stylesheet and font files are publicly reachable and that the chosen font covers Devanagari. Html2Pdf.app documents web-font loading and a wait option, but does not specifically guarantee correct Hindi shaping.
Save a Hindi webpage with the online converter
- Open the Html2Pdf.app online converter.
- Enter the webpage’s public URL and generate the PDF. The online converter is advertised as usable without an API key. The page must be accessible to the conversion service.
- Open the PDF and inspect a representative section containing Hindi text before relying on it. Check vowel marks, conjuncts, punctuation, mixed Hindi and Latin text, and line breaks at normal zoom.
A PDF can be generated successfully while still displaying Hindi incorrectly. Treat visual inspection of the output as part of the conversion, especially for documents where exact text rendering matters.

Why Hindi fonts can break in a PDF
Html2Pdf.app renders pages with headless Chromium. Its documentation says results can depend on CSS media mode, available fonts and other resources, and JavaScript timing. A webpage may therefore look right on your own device but render differently when converted.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minutePC Slower Than It Used to Be?
A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11- The font cannot be fetched: the stylesheet or font file may require login, cookies, or access to a private network.
- The font lacks Devanagari glyphs: a font family name alone does not establish Hindi coverage. A fallback font may show boxes or missing characters.
- The font loads too late: a web font or script may not finish loading before the renderer captures the page.
- The page itself is already broken: if Hindi text is malformed in your browser, PDF conversion will not fix the source page’s font configuration.
Fix font and loading issues
First check the page in a browser
Open the source webpage in a browser and confirm its Hindi text is correct. If it is already broken there, the page owner needs to correct its font setup. If it is correct in the browser but not in the PDF, focus on resources available to the converter and rendering timing.
Make the font resources public
Html2Pdf.app documents support for Google Fonts and self-hosted web fonts using @font-face. The stylesheet and the actual font files must be publicly reachable by the renderer. They should not depend on a logged-in session, private network, or browser-only cookies.
For a page you control, the basic CSS pattern looks like this. Replace the example address with a publicly accessible font file that you have verified includes Devanagari; the address below is illustrative, not a recommended or tested font endpoint.

src: url("https://example.com/path/to/devanagari-font.woff2") format("woff2");
font-display: swap;
}
body {
font-family: "HindiWebFont", sans-serif;
}
Check the font provider’s license and script coverage before using a font. Html2Pdf.app’s available-font list includes names such as NotoSans and NotoSerif, but that listing does not establish Devanagari coverage or correct rendering of Hindi ligatures and conjuncts.
Allow asynchronous resources to load
Where the converter or API exposes waitFor, use it to give fonts and page scripts time to finish. The API documentation lists a supported range of 0 to 10 seconds. A longer wait can help with delayed resources, but it cannot make an inaccessible font reachable or add glyphs a font does not contain.
Use the API for a public URL or raw HTML
The documented API accepts a public webpage URL or raw HTML and returns a PDF. For a synchronous request, check the HTTP status before saving the response as a PDF: an error response is not a usable PDF file.
Consult the Html2Pdf.app documentation for current request parameters, including waitFor. The following Python example demonstrates the essential binary-response handling; it submits a public URL, checks for an HTTP error, and writes the response bytes to a file. Add any supported rendering options required by your page according to the API documentation.

with open("hindi-page.pdf", "wb") as pdf:
pdf.write(response.content)
Verify the API endpoint and request format in Html2Pdf.app’s current documentation before using this illustrative request in production; the key operational point is to save the successful PDF response as binary rather than treating it as text.

| Symptom | What to check | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Hindi letters are missing or shown as boxes | Whether the selected font contains Devanagari glyphs | Ask the page owner which font is used or inspect its CSS; test with a font whose Devanagari coverage is established. |
| The page is styled incorrectly or text is absent | Whether the page, stylesheet, fonts, and other required resources are reachable by the renderer | Make required resources publicly accessible and retry. |
| The font appears to be ignored | Whether both the stylesheet and font file are public and fetchable without login or private access | Correct access restrictions or use a publicly reachable font resource. |
| Some marks or conjuncts look malformed | Font script coverage and whether the renderer shaped the text correctly | Try a verified Devanagari-capable font and inspect a fresh sample; the product documentation does not confirm Devanagari shaping behavior. |
| The API output is not a readable PDF | HTTP status and response type | Check the status before writing response bytes to a .pdf file; diagnose an error response instead of saving it as a document. |
| The PDF uses stale or incomplete page content | Whether fonts or JavaScript-loaded content finished before capture | Use the documented waitFor option where available, within its 0–10 second range, and convert again. |
Or skip the browser setup
For a screenshot rather than a PDF, ScreenshotNeo can return a webpage capture with one GET request. It accepts cookie and consent banners before capture and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; each cleanup step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, failed loads, timeouts, and cache hits are not billed, and the response identifies the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server offers screenshot and PDF tools for AI agents, and the free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000.
See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation. This one-call cURL example saves a screenshot of a Hindi page as WebP; it is a screenshot workflow, not a replacement for generating a paginated PDF with Html2Pdf.app.

Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Can I use a Google Font for a Hindi webpage?
Html2Pdf.app documents Google Fonts support, but you still need to confirm the chosen family covers Devanagari and that its resources are reachable by the renderer.
