Check for an official GST portal download first
For an official record, a portal-provided file is generally preferable to printing a rendered web page. For example, the GST portal’s registration certificate guide describes the route Services > User Services > View/Download Certificates and says a registration certificate downloads as a PDF.

Formats vary by service. The portal’s GSTR-2B FAQ says that after generation and login, the statement can be viewed or downloaded in Excel and/or JSON. That is an example of a portal-provided download, not evidence that every GST record can be downloaded as a PDF.
Print a page that is open after GST login
- Sign in to the GST portal through your browser and complete any required OTP step.
- Navigate to the page you need and confirm that the relevant content is visible.
- Open the browser’s Print dialog and select its PDF destination if one is available.
- Save the file, then inspect it for missing content, cut-off tables and unsuitable page breaks.
This approach prints the page already loaded in your browser session. The portal’s login guide documents login and OTP steps; CloudConvert’s public URL capture should not be treated as though it automatically shares that session.

Troubleshoot common problems
- The PDF does not show a logged-in page: The URL capture may not have the browser’s GST session. Use the portal’s download, if offered, or print from the signed-in browser.
- The page prompts for login or OTP: Complete those steps in your browser. Do not assume an external URL converter can perform the GST authentication flow.
- The PDF is missing a statement or record: Check whether the portal requires you to generate or open the record first, then use its own download option. The GSTR-2B guidance, for example, refers to viewing or downloading after generation and login.
- Tables or page breaks look wrong: Inspect the PDF before using it. For API-based CloudConvert conversion, consult the documented paper-size, margin, zoom, header and footer controls; the no-code tool may not expose the same settings.
- The portal offers Excel or JSON but not PDF: Use the available official format if it suits your purpose, or print the open browser page to PDF. Do not assume a portal download option exists for every service.
