Open the official result link for your particular NTA examination, sign in using that exam’s instructions, then use your browser’s print preview and choose its PDF destination. A browser-printed PDF records a rendering of the page you can see; it is not automatically the official score card. If the exam portal offers a score-card download, keep that file too.
What you need to know before saving an NTA result
NTA’s Exam Result page is a starting point, not one universal result page or login for every examination. Follow the result link and current instructions for the specific exam. The SWAYAM notice dated 03 February 2026, for example, directs eligible candidates to the specified exam site and says to log in with an application number and password. Those credentials are specific to that notice; do not assume another NTA exam uses the same process. (NTA SWAYAM notice)

There are two different files to distinguish: a PDF you create by printing the visible webpage, and a score card issued or downloaded through the exam portal. The NTA SWAYAM notice says candidates can download and print score cards from the specified site and that final score cards and certificates will be issued by the concerned National Coordinators. If the portal provides an official score card, save it and use it where an official document is required.

Open the official NTA result landing page at nta.ac.in/examresult, then follow the result link for your examination.

Check that you are on the exam’s official result site. Sign in with the credentials and steps stated in that exam’s notice or portal; do not infer them from another examination.

When the result is visible, open Chrome’s print preview. Press Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+P on Mac. These are Chrome desktop shortcuts described in Google’s Print from Chrome help.

In the print preview, choose the PDF-saving destination available on your device and save the file. Destination labels and options can vary by device and setup. Google’s help documents “Save as PDF” in its Drive-related workflow.

Open the saved PDF and check that the result and any name or identifier fields you need are present and readable. Keep the portal’s own score-card download separately if one is offered.
What a browser-printed PDF does—and does not—prove
Printing a webpage to PDF preserves a rendering of what was visible when you printed it. By itself, it does not turn that rendering into an official NTA score card or certificate. Whether a recipient accepts a printout depends on that recipient’s requirements; use the exam portal’s issued score card or certificate when an official document is requested.

Troubleshooting a missing or incomplete PDF

The result link or login does not work: Return to the official result link for that examination and follow its current notice. NTA results can use exam-specific sites and instructions.

The print preview is empty or missing result details: Confirm the result is fully displayed in the browser before opening print preview. If a required section still does not appear, use the portal’s score-card download if available rather than relying on an incomplete webpage rendering.

You cannot find a PDF destination: Review the destinations offered by your device and browser; wording and availability can vary. Google’s Chrome help provides its published print workflow and PDF-saving guidance.

The saved file is hard to read: Reopen it and inspect the relevant page content and identifying fields. Save again from the result page if essential information is clipped or absent.
