Save the page as a PDF on a computer
Use Chrome’s normal print workflow first
- Open the webpage in Chrome and press Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+P on Mac.
- In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF as the destination.
- Choose the save location and save the file.
This is Google’s documented desktop workflow. If Chrome’s preview is blank or never finishes loading, proceed to the system-dialog workaround rather than repeatedly waiting on the same preview. Google: Print from Chrome – Computer

Bypass Chrome’s preview on Windows or Linux
- With the page open, press Ctrl+Shift+P.
- If the operating system’s print dialog opens, select a PDF destination—such as a system-provided PDF printer—and save the file.

- Open the page in Chrome.
- Tap More > Share > Print.
- At the top of the print interface, choose Save as PDF.
- Choose where to save the file, then tap Print to save it.

If an Android multi-page print fails
One Chrome Help Community thread describes a Product Expert’s workaround: save the PDF first, then print that saved file from a PDF viewer such as Google Drive or Adobe Acrobat. - Test another page. A simple page can help establish whether the problem appears limited to one webpage.
- Try Incognito mode. If printing works there, the issue may relate to your regular browsing setup; this check alone does not identify the cause.
- Temporarily disable extensions. Then test again. You can also test a fresh Chrome profile without extensions to isolate profile-related effects.
- Check the system printer setup. Look for an old, offline, or unavailable printer, and restart the computer as a basic diagnostic step.

If Chrome is crashing or the webpage will not load—not merely showing a blank print preview—Google’s general Android guidance suggests closing other tabs and apps when memory may be constrained, restarting Chrome or the device, and checking the page in another browser. When to use Save page as instead
On desktop, Chrome offers More > More tools > Save page as. This preserves webpage content as a webpage file; it does not create the print-formatted PDF you get through the print workflow.
