Use your browser’s built-in print or save-to-PDF option, then check both the preview and the finished file for missing lines or broken Tamil characters. The steps vary by device, and none of the cited browser instructions guarantees that Tamil text or every part of every webpage will appear perfectly in a PDF.
Before saving: prepare and check the page
- Open the webpage and wait for it to finish loading. Expand any sections or text you need included before starting the print or save flow. This is a practical safeguard, not a guarantee that the page’s print output will include everything.
- Inspect the print preview for missing lines, clipped columns, blank sections, or broken Tamil glyphs.
- After saving, open the PDF and check Tamil characters and vowel signs, word boundaries, and the end of the document. A successful save does not prove that all text or layout was preserved.
Save a webpage as PDF on Android
Chrome
- Open the webpage in Chrome.
- Tap More > Share > Print.
- In the print screen, choose Save as PDF, select a location, and tap Print to save the file.
Firefox
- Open the webpage in Firefox and tap the three-dot menu.
- Tap Share > Save as PDF, then tap Download.
Mozilla’s support instructions say the saved PDF appears in Downloads. That article was last updated May 3, 2023.

Save a webpage as PDF on a computer with Firefox
- Open the webpage, open the Firefox menu, and choose Print.
- In print preview, choose Save to PDF as the destination.
- Review the layout. Firefox’s print controls include orientation, page range, scale, margins, paper size, and print backgrounds.
- Save the file, open it, and check that the Tamil text and final page are present.
A webpage can print differently from how it appears on screen. If lines are clipped or columns do not fit, try changing the available layout settings and inspect the preview again. These controls can adjust the page layout, but they cannot guarantee that missing page content will be restored.

- Open the webpage in Safari and open the page menu or tap Share.
- Tap Markup, then tap Done > Save File To.
- Name the PDF, choose where to save it, and save the file.
- Open the saved PDF and inspect the Tamil text, including vowel signs and the end of the document.
If Tamil text is missing or broken
- Text is absent in the preview: The page’s print output may omit it. Try the website’s own export or print option, if available, or use another browser. The cited browser guidance does not establish a universal repair.
- Text is clipped: On Firefox desktop, try a different orientation, scale, margin, or paper size, then review the preview before saving.
- Glyphs look broken in the saved file: Check the PDF itself rather than relying on the preview alone. The available official instructions do not verify Tamil-specific rendering, font embedding, or identical results across browsers and devices.
- The page looks complete but interactive content is absent: A PDF is not proof that every interactive or dynamically loaded element was captured. Expand the content you need before printing and check the result.
If the text is already missing from the page’s print output, keeping the source URL alongside the PDF can help you return to the original webpage.
