In Opera GX for desktop, open the page, launch Snapshot with Shift+Ctrl+5 on Windows or Linux, or Shift+Command+2 on macOS, then choose Save page as PDF. You can also click the camera icon beside the search bar. For a PDF with print-layout controls, use the browser’s print dialog instead.
Save a full webpage as a PDF with Snapshot
- Open the webpage you want to save in Opera GX.
- Launch Snapshot by pressing Shift+Ctrl+5 on Windows or Linux, or Shift+Command+2 on macOS. Alternatively, click the camera icon beside the search bar.
- Choose Save page as PDF.
- Choose where to save the PDF if prompted, then open it and check that the content you need is present.
Opera Help documents this Snapshot option as a way to save the full page from top to bottom. The shortcut and control placement may vary by browser version or platform. If you cannot find Snapshot, try the page context menu or the print dialog.

Use the page context menu if Snapshot is unavailable
Right-click an empty area of the webpage—not a link, image, or selected text—and choose the PDF-saving option. Opera’s Help documents a PDF action in the page context menu, though its exact wording can vary across versions.
Choose Snapshot or print-to-PDF

Opera’s explanation of the difference was published in a desktop blog post dated October 13, 2017; current Opera Help documents the general procedures, but that older post does not establish that every current GX menu uses identical labels.

Save through the print dialog
- With the webpage open, press Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+P on macOS.
- In the print dialog, select the available PDF destination.
- Adjust print settings such as layout, headers, or margins if needed.
- Save the PDF, then review the result—especially if the page uses a layout that differs between screen and print.
Check pages with lazy-loaded images
Opera says its screen-oriented Save Page as PDF action does not try to load images that are currently invisible. Some websites reveal images only after you scroll. On an image-heavy or long page, scroll through it before saving to give scroll-triggered content a chance to appear, then inspect the PDF. This is a practical precaution based on Opera’s explanation, not a guarantee that every site will load all content.
