Save a full-page screenshot in Edge on your Mac

Open the webpage in Microsoft Edge and wait for the content you want to capture to load. Scroll through the page first if you need to check that important content has appeared.

Open Settings and more (…) in the upper-right corner and choose Screenshot. You can also open the webpage’s context menu and choose Screenshot. Microsoft’s older guide calls the feature Web capture; the current name is Screenshot.

Select Capture full page. Edge captures the webpage beyond the part currently visible in the window, including long pages.

Review the capture, then choose the save option to store it in your files. Depending on the controls shown in your version, you may also be able to copy, mark up or share it.
Microsoft describes full-page capture as supporting long or moving webpages. Its guide notes that functionality may change, so button names or available controls can vary between Edge releases. See Microsoft’s Edge screenshot guide and Screenshot feature page.

Does the Edge screenshot shortcut work on macOS?
Microsoft lists Ctrl+Shift+S for opening Web Capture, but its instructions do not spell out a Mac-specific remapping, and its Edge-for-Mac keyboard reference does not list a Screenshot shortcut. Treat the shortcut as version-dependent; use the Settings and more menu or page context menu if it does not work. Do not substitute Command+S: Microsoft documents that shortcut as saving the current tab, not as taking a screenshot. See the Edge keyboard shortcuts reference.
If Screenshot is missing or the capture does not work

Screenshot is absent from both menus: update Edge and check again. On a work or school Mac, a centrally managed browser policy may disable the feature. Microsoft’s WebCaptureEnabled policy documentation lists macOS support from Edge version 87; when the policy is disabled, users cannot access Screenshot. Ask your administrator if you cannot change managed settings.

You see “Web capture” instead: that is the older name for the same feature. Microsoft notes that the name and functionality can change across releases.

Part of the page is missing: wait for the page’s content to load before capturing. For pages that reveal content only as you scroll, scroll through the relevant sections first, then try Capture full page again. Microsoft documents full-page capture for long and moving webpages, but does not promise identical results on every site.

You need a file but cannot find the save control: review the Screenshot result and its available controls; the overlay may offer save, copy, markup or sharing. The exact controls can vary by release.
