On a computer, open the page in Chrome, press Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux or Command+P on Mac, choose Save as PDF as the destination, check the preview, then save. On Android, use More > Share > Print and select Save as PDF. Check the finished PDF: a website’s print layout may omit or rearrange content, and Chrome does not promise a pixel-for-pixel copy of everything on screen.
Save a webpage as a PDF on a computer
- Open the webpage in Chrome and let it load. If the page reveals content only after scrolling or interaction, load the parts you need before printing.
- Open the print dialog with Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, Command+P on Mac, or choose File > Print.
- In the destination or printer selection, choose Save as PDF if it is available. The options shown can vary by system.
- Review the preview and the print settings offered in the dialog. Adjust them if needed, then choose the save action.
- If prompted, select a filename and location. Open the saved PDF and confirm that it includes the sections, images, and other material you need.
Google’s Chrome help describes printing from a computer by opening the print dialog, choosing a destination, and changing print settings. The preview is useful, but it is not a guarantee that every website element will appear in the PDF. Google Chrome Help: Print from Chrome — Computer.

- Open the webpage in Chrome.
- Tap More > Share > Print.
- At the top of the print options, choose Save as PDF.
- Choose where to save the file and tap Print.

What “full webpage” means in the PDF
Printing creates a PDF from the page’s print presentation, not necessarily a complete visual capture of the live page. Websites can use a different layout for printing, and content that appears only after scrolling or interaction may not be included unless it has loaded. Neither the print workflow nor the available sources promise that every site will preserve all on-screen elements.

- Inspect the print preview before saving for missing sections or images.
- After saving, open the PDF and check the content you need.
- If something is missing, make sure the relevant page content has loaded, then reopen the print preview and check again.
Chrome’s “Save page as” is a different option
Chrome also has a desktop More > More tools > Save page as command. That is a separate webpage-saving workflow, not the print-dialog process for creating the PDF requested here. Do not assume it produces the same kind of file or preserves the same layout. Google Chrome Help: Download a file — Computer.
