To run separate IRL Pro streams on two YouTube channels, create a live event on each channel and send each event its own YouTube server URL and stream key from an independent IRL Pro sender. The conservative documented setup is two senders. The reviewed IRL Pro documentation does not establish whether one phone can run two independent sessions at once, so do not rely on that without confirming it with the app’s current support.
What you need for two separate streams
- Two YouTube channels eligible to go live. Each channel must be verified and live streaming enabled; first-time activation can take at least 24 hours. Both accounts must be in good standing. YouTube Help
- A separate live event and its corresponding server URL and stream key for each channel.
- Two independent IRL Pro senders for the conservative setup. Enhanced IRL describes IRL Pro as broadcasting over a single connection. Its documentation does not confirm simultaneous independent sessions on one phone. Enhanced IRL Docs
- Enough stable upload capacity for both feeds, including while moving.
Set up each YouTube channel and event
1. Confirm live access on both channels
Sign in to each channel and confirm it is verified, in good standing, and enabled for live streaming. If live streaming has not been enabled before, allow at least 24 hours for activation. Do this in advance rather than just before a broadcast. YouTube Help

2. Create or schedule the first event
In the first channel’s YouTube Studio, open Go Live and create a stream, or use the Manage tab to schedule one. Scheduling provides an event URL to share and lets viewers set reminders. Open the event’s stream settings and copy its YouTube server URL and stream key. Keep the details labeled for channel one. YouTube Help

Switch to the second channel, create or schedule its own event, then copy that event’s server URL and stream key. Do not reuse channel one’s credentials: each YouTube event is associated with its own connection details. Label the two sets clearly before configuring either sender. YouTube supports multiple simultaneous live streams up to a platform limit, subject to channel eligibility. YouTube Help

Configure the two IRL Pro senders
- Assign one sender to each event. Use one independent IRL Pro sender for channel one and another for channel two. The available IRL Pro guide describes a broadcast over one connection; it does not document a single IRL Pro session publishing separate feeds to two YouTube channels.
- Choose a supported ingest protocol. IRL Pro’s guide describes RTMP and SRT support in its documented workflow. Confirm the protocol supported by the destination and the service issuing the connection details. Do not assume every YouTube ingest path accepts every protocol.
- Enter the matching connection details. In the documented Enhanced IRL stream-key workflow, select a protocol in the stream-key dashboard, copy the complete publish URL, choose the same protocol in IRL Pro, and paste the URL into the URL/server field. For SRT, the key is carried in the
streamid; for RTMP, the URL already ends in the key. Those examples are for Enhanced IRL’s service; for direct YouTube ingest, use the exact event details and field instructions shown for your selected connection path. - Verify the mapping. Before going live, check that the sender labeled channel one has channel one’s credentials and the other sender has channel two’s. This avoids sending a feed to the wrong event.
- Check both previews. Wait for each event’s preview in YouTube Live Control Room, then click Go live for the scheduled stream as prompted. Monitor each stream’s health while broadcasting. YouTube’s documentation does not describe a special two-channel IRL Pro control screen.
Plan upload capacity for both mobile feeds
Estimate combined upload demand by adding the target bitrates of both outgoing streams. YouTube’s example is 6 Mbps plus 4 Mbps, or 10 Mbps total; it recommends aiming for 1.5 to 2 times that combined target—15–20 Mbps in that example—particularly on a shared connection. This is planning guidance, not a guarantee that a mobile connection will sustain the rate while moving. Test on the actual route and monitor stream health. YouTube Help
Enhanced IRL advises setting resolution, frame rate, and bitrate below the applicable plan cap, starting around half the cap, testing along the usual route, and increasing only if bitrate stays stable. Its documentation lists these caps and example starting settings; they are Enhanced IRL plan figures, not YouTube requirements, and may change. Enhanced IRL Docs

These are per-plan figures from Enhanced IRL documentation accessed in 2026; the page does not provide a publication year. They are not a combined two-feed target. Plan for the sum of both actual outgoing bitrates, then test under realistic movement, audio, and network conditions.

IRL Pro reconnects repeatedly or YouTube shows no signal
A stale or invalid URL may be the cause. Enhanced IRL notes that changing a key’s region or protocol, or rotating the key, invalidates the previous URL. Publish and copy the replacement URL, then update the matching sender. For direct YouTube events, recheck that you copied the current event’s server URL and key and entered them in the correct sender.

The stream degrades while moving
First check stream health and available upload capacity. Enhanced IRL recommends SRT over RTMP for its documented stream-key service, or reducing bitrate if already using SRT. That is provider guidance, not proof that every YouTube ingest path supports both protocols or that a protocol change fixes weak mobile coverage. Verify support for the selected destination and connection path; reduce the target bitrate if the available connection cannot sustain it.
A feed appears on the wrong channel or event
Stop and check the labels against each event’s connection details. A key belongs to the YouTube live stream from which it was copied, so the wrong key can route the feed to the wrong event or prevent connection. Replace mismatched credentials with the correct event’s current URL and key.

You are considering one phone or a relay instead of two senders
The reviewed documentation does not establish that one phone can run two simultaneous independent IRL Pro sessions, or that a relay can take one IRL Pro feed and publish separate events to both channels. YouTube describes local encoders for multiple simultaneous streams and cloud services for distributing one feed to multiple destinations, but that does not verify a particular relay for two separate IRL Pro feeds. Confirm a proposed setup’s current support for distinct YouTube events before depending on it.
