This clears saved network configurations, including saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords, but it does not erase personal content or media. On Android, the steps depend on the handset and software version; Vodafone’s device manuals document an APN-only reset on specific models, not one universal full network-reset path.
Before resetting: try the simpler fixes
Apple recommends resetting network settings only after other troubleshooting has failed. First check that Wi-Fi or mobile data is on, turn Airplane Mode off, restart the phone, and see whether other devices can connect to the same Wi-Fi network. If a school or employer manages the connection, ask its IT or network administrator before changing settings. Apple’s Wi-Fi troubleshooting guidance explains when to use a network reset.

Reset Vodafone network settings on an iPhone
- Open Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset.
- Tap Reset Network Settings. Do not select Erase All Content and Settings; that is a separate option that erases content.
- After the reset, reconnect to Wi-Fi using the network password. Review VPN and roaming settings, and confirm that the intended cellular line is selected.
Apple says all network settings are removed. Previously used Wi-Fi networks and their passwords are cleared, as are VPN settings that were not installed through a configuration profile or mobile-device management. Wi-Fi disconnects during the reset; cellular data roaming may also be switched off. The device name in Settings > General > About returns to “iPhone,” and manually trusted certificates become untrusted. Personal content and media are not erased. See the iPhone User Guide for Apple’s reset options.
Does resetting network settings delete an eSIM?
Reset Network Settings and Delete All eSIMs are separate iPhone reset choices. Apple lists deleting stored eSIMs separately; do not choose that option unless you intend to remove them. A normal network-settings reset is not the same as deleting an eSIM. Apple’s iPhone reset guide lists the options and their distinct purposes.

Android: distinguish a full network reset from an APN reset
Android menu names and reset options vary by manufacturer and software version, so there is no reliable single Vodafone path for every Android phone. Vodafone’s manuals for particular older handsets describe resetting APNs—the settings used to connect mobile data—not resetting Wi-Fi, mobile network and Bluetooth together.
For example, the Vodafone Smart X9 manual places APNs at Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network > Access Point Names, where the APN menu offers Reset to default. Vodafone’s Smart Prime 7 manual shows an APN reset through a different, older settings layout. Treat those as model-specific examples, not instructions for every Android phone. Check the current support instructions for your exact make and model if you need a full network reset. Vodafone’s device guides provide handset-specific instructions.

- High Power ≠ High Risk | Smarter Compatibility for Every Device: 240W doesn't mean compromising safety—it means unmatched versatility. Thanks to PD3.1 Extended Power Range (EPR) technology, our c to c cable fast charging dynamically adjusts voltage/current to deliver each device's maximum safe power (e.g., 60W to iPads, 100W to older MacBooks, 140W to MacBook Pro). Other 60W/100W usb c to usb c cable can't hit full charging speed for your power-hungry devices—they're held back by their own power limits. LISEN 240W usb-c charge cable? It charges all your gear steadily, efficiently, and at full speed, with zero safety risks
- 240W Ultra Fast Charging | Smart Protocol Matching: This iPhone 18 pro max charger fast charging cable supports PD3.1 EPR/QC4.0 fast charging up to 240W Max, working seamlessly with USB-C Power Delivery adapters (e.g.60W/100W/240W). It automatically matches your device’s handshake protocol to deliver the maximum safe power it can handle. It's 2.4X faster than 100W fast charging usb-c cables: Up to 85% charged in 30 mins for iPhone 18 Pro Max, up to 65% charged in 30 mins for iPad Pro, and up to 80% charged in 30 mins for MacBook Pro 16''(M5). - E-Marker 3.0 Chip | Real-Time Current/Voltage Monitoring: LISEN 240W type c charger fast charging cable has an E-Marker 3.0 + PD3.1 EPR system that actively monitors current/voltage 3.2M+ times per second, ensuring zero overloads, short circuits, or battery damage. Paired with dual safeguards (overheat + surge protection) and PD3.1/QC4.0 certifications, it's not just a USB-C to USB-C cable—it's a smart guardian for your devices
- Premium Copper Core | Conductivity Meets Durability: This high speed usb c cable fast charging is upgraded from standard copper to 99.99% oxygen-free copper cores—thicker, purer, and lower-resistance. This means: (1) Stable power delivery even at 240W (no energy loss or heat buildup). (2) Longer lifespan (resists corrosion and wear, unlike cheaper alloys). (3) Faster data sync (480Mbps) with minimal signal interference
Reset an APN on iPhone, if the option is available
An APN reset is a targeted operation, separate from a full network-settings reset. If your carrier permits APN editing, Apple places the control at Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data > Cellular Data Network or Mobile Data Network > Reset Settings. Some iPhones do not show these controls. Apple warns that incorrect APN entries can interrupt mobile data and may result in additional charges, so do not change APN values unless you have the correct settings. Apple’s APN instructions explain the available controls.

Which reset should you choose?
| Action | What it changes | When it fits |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone: Reset Network Settings | Removes network settings, including saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords and some VPN settings; may switch off data roaming. | Use after simpler fixes fail and you need to clear network configuration. |
| APN reset | Restores default Access Point Name settings where the phone and carrier expose the control. | Use when mobile-data APN configuration is the issue, rather than to clear all network settings. |
| iPhone: Delete All eSIMs | Removes stored eSIMs; this is a separate option from Reset Network Settings. | Use only when you intend to delete stored eSIMs. |
If Vodafone still shows No Service or Searching
A network reset cannot resolve every cause of lost service. For iPhone status messages such as No Service or Searching, Apple recommends these checks:

If service remains unavailable, contact Vodafone to check whether the account is active, the area has coverage or an outage, the device is blocked, or the plan is correct. Apple’s No Service guidance covers these checks and when to contact the carrier.
Vodafone Travel’s eSIM guidance also advises checking that mobile data is enabled for the correct eSIM line and confirming APN settings. That advice is for travel eSIM service and should not be assumed to apply to every Vodafone market or plan. See Vodafone Travel’s eSIM troubleshooting guide.
