On many Wi-Fi-capable Samsung washers in the U.S., reset the saved network details by holding Smart Control until AP appears, then holding Temp until OK appears. Turn the washer off afterward. The button sequence varies on some models and in some regions, so check your washer’s manual if its controls do not match.
Reset the washer’s Wi-Fi settings
Samsung’s U.S. instructions describe this network reset for Wi-Fi-capable washers. It refreshes the saved Wi-Fi and network information; it is not the same as simply cutting power to the appliance.

Press and hold Temp for about 7 seconds, until OK appears. The display then returns to AP.

Turn the washer off. Samsung says the Wi-Fi and network information will be refreshed the next time a device is connected.
These steps are from Samsung’s U.S. washer reset instructions. The procedure applies only to models with Wi-Fi capability.
Check the procedure for your exact model
Samsung publishes different button sequences for some washers. Its Canadian support page confirms the Smart Control → AP, then Temp → OK sequence. Samsung France describes a different sequence for the washers covered there: turn the washer on, hold Smart Control for 5 seconds until AP appears, then hold Rinse for 7 seconds until a confirmation beep. It then directs users to power-cycle the machine to restart pairing in SmartThings.
Those regional instructions are not interchangeable choices. Use the procedure in the manual for your washer’s exact model and region. If the panel lacks the named buttons or cannot display AP/OK, do not try a different combination blindly; find the model manual through Samsung’s washer reset support page.

After the network reset, use SmartThings to register the washer again if your model supports the app. Samsung Gulf’s SmartThings connection instructions describe adding a washer in the app, choosing the Wi-Fi network, and completing registration. Follow the prompts shown for your model.
Network reset versus power cycle
A network reset clears or refreshes saved Wi-Fi/network information. A power cycle means removing power from the washer—or switching off its breaker—and restoring it. Samsung’s U.S. washer FAQ says there is no dedicated Reset button; the FAQ’s power-cycle guidance does not make a power cycle equivalent to the Wi-Fi network reset.
If the washer still will not connect after the reset and SmartThings setup, use model-specific connectivity troubleshooting. A power cycle may not resolve an underlying washer fault.
