What to check before resetting
- Read the instructions for your exact model, including the control to use, how long to hold it, and the expected light or sound signal.
- For a case-based reset, check whether the instructions require the case to be open and the earbuds to be seated correctly. Some procedures also require sufficient case charge.
- If your model’s troubleshooting instructions say to remove old Bluetooth records, forget the Soundcore device in your phone or computer’s Bluetooth settings and switch Bluetooth off before resetting. This is not a universal requirement.

P30i or R50i
Soundcore’s instructions say to open the case and take out both earbuds, then hold both touch areas at the same time for 10 seconds. The case should have enough power. See the reset overview for the current entry and its confirmation signal.
V40i
While wearing the earbuds, hold both touch-control areas for 10 seconds, until you hear the sound prompt and beep. Soundcore says the earbuds disconnect from Bluetooth after the reset; toggle Bluetooth off and on, then pair them again. See Soundcore’s V40i reset instructions.

Place the earbuds in the open case and make sure they contact the charging points properly. Hold the case button for 10 seconds. How do I reset Soundcore over-ear headphones?
Some over-ear models use Power and Volume+, but neither the hold time nor the confirmation signal should be assumed to apply across the range. Soundcore’s overview lists this combination for models including Q20i, Space Q45, Space One, and Space One Pro, with model-specific timing or LED confirmation. Follow the exact entry for your headphones in the reset overview.
What should happen after a reset?
Look for the light or sound signal specified for your model; a button hold without the expected confirmation may not have completed the reset. Bluetooth pairing may be cleared or disconnected, so turn Bluetooth back on and pair the device again if needed. For the models covered by its overview, Soundcore also notes that restoring factory settings returns function switches to their default settings; check your model’s instructions for what the reset changes.

Why won’t my Soundcore headphones or earbuds connect after resetting?
First, make sure the reset completed according to the model-specific confirmation signal. Then check the connection basics relevant to your device:
- For case-based earbud resets, confirm that the case has charge and that each earbud is seated against its charging contacts.
- If the old Bluetooth entry remains, forget the device in the phone or computer’s Bluetooth settings, then switch Bluetooth off and on and pair again.
- Check Soundcore’s connection troubleshooting guidance for symptoms such as connection problems or sound from only one side.
