In Epic Seven, progress a fresh account to stage 1-4 to unlock Selective Summon, then keep a useful five-star hero rather than spending time chasing a perfect roll. Current community guides recommend Iseria for broad early PvE utility, with Destina as an alternative if you value healing and cleansing. You do not need to reroll for Sigret: guides say she is available later through Hunt missions.
How to reroll in Epic Seven
- Start a fresh account and play through stage 1-4. Current guides say Selective Summon unlocks at that point. The exact early-game path may shift with game updates.
- Compare Selective Summon results. Current guides describe unlimited attempts and a function that records one result while you continue rolling. Smilegate’s official May 28, 2021 announcement confirms a guaranteed five-star and the ability to temporarily save a result, but does not establish the current attempt limit. Treat unlimited attempts as guide-reported and check the live game if the limit matters. Smilegate’s 2021 announcement; current reroll guide; community progression guide.
- Choose a keeper, then bind the account. The reroll guide warns that binding before confirming your preferred result can lock in an unintended account.
- Move into free progression. Use Connections and Hunt missions to build out your roster instead of rerolling for every hero you want.
Which Selective Summon hero should you keep?
Iseria: the broad PvE pick
For a general-purpose start, Iseria is the best-supported recommendation in the current guides. They point to her defense break and usefulness across PvE activities such as Hunts and Abyss. Destina: a safety-focused alternative
Destina offers healing and cleansing, which can help make early fights more forgiving. The guides differ in how they rate her relative PvE value, so consider her an alternative for players who prioritize survival—not a universally equal replacement for Iseria. reroll guide; starter guide.

One current starter guide also names Ken, Angelica, Clarissa, and Sez as usable fallback results. The available evidence does not establish that every named hero remains in the live Selective Summon pool; verify availability in-game before targeting one. Epic Seven Wiki’s starter guide.

Should you reroll for Sigret?
No. Current guides say Sigret is obtainable later through Hunt missions, so chasing her in Selective Summon adds time without being necessary for access to her. The same guides describe early Hunt teams assembled from progression units such as Furious, Alexa, and either Angelica or specialty-changed Angelic Montmorancy. The Selective hero is only one part of the early roster; it does not have to provide a complete Wyvern team. starter guide; getting-started guide.
How much should you optimize a reroll?
Prioritize a useful five-star hero and stop when you have a result you are happy to build around. One community guide mentions four-star heroes and artifacts—including Rose, Achates, Magaraha’s Tome, Aurius, and Tagehel’s Ancient Book—as optional extras, but says they are not required. Chasing a particular combination can extend reroll time substantially, while free progression fills important roster roles. Moriyaism’s progression guide.

What the official Selective Summon notice confirms
Smilegate’s May 28, 2021 announcement says the Selection Summon system was improved “to guarantee the appearance of five-star heroes” and that players could temporarily save their current results. It is useful confirmation of those mechanics at that time, but it does not verify the current unlimited-attempt claim made by community guides. Smilegate Newsroom.
