Use the in-game player-report option to report someone you suspect of cheating. Activision Support gives this as its general Call of Duty guidance, but the reviewed sources do not confirm the exact Modern Warfare 4 (MW4) menu names or button sequence. If you cannot find a report option, check Activision Support’s player-report categories for an MW4-specific route.
Report the player in game

These are general steps, not a verified MW4 menu walkthrough. Activision Support’s guidance says players who suspect cheating can report the player within the game, but the indexed help article is for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, not MW4: Activision Support’s player-report guidance. The reviewed MW4 support materials do not establish a specific report path, menu label, or platform control.

If you cannot find the in-game option
Check Activision Support’s player-report support options for an option that applies to MW4. The available categories do not, by themselves, verify a MW4-specific support-ticket process for cheating allegations. Treat Support as a place to check rather than a confirmed substitute for the in-game report.
What to expect after reporting
Activision says its security team monitors fair play and removes players who do not follow its policies: Activision’s fair-play and security-team statement. The cited materials do not promise a particular outcome or response time for an individual report, so avoid assuming that a report will lead to a specific action.

MW4 availability context
Activision’s official MW4 page lists October 23, 2026 as the announced release date: Modern Warfare 4 official page.
